Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Having played a couple of games with the jungle terrain.
I must say it is brilliant, except for the fact that I keep forgetting about the 1 die defence rule still managed to win 2-1 overall with the three games we played. Anyone else used it competitively? |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Just been reading bout using 1 die for MQ9 Queglix special att against krav maga.
Presume this is to do with the odds of getting no shields over set amount of throws? Will have to remember that as my freind has taken me out a few times with his krav maga. Suppose I should remember it is only a game! I mean I am 37 after all?????? |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
It's not "only a game". It's "one of the best games ever created".
And yes, Q9 will take out the Krav more effectively throwing a single die at a time. Although Q9 has a better chance of hitting the more dice he throws (it's a 50% chance to hit with 1 die, and a 75% chance to hit with two, for example), getting more skulls won't help against the Krav - no matter how many hits you score, the Krav have the same chance to defend, they need just one shield on any of their three dice. Although throwing three dice at a time Q9 would be expected to hit with all three attacks almost all of the time, the odds are that the Krav will defend *most* of the time. But if Q9 throws one die at a time, he would hit 4.5 times - and the odds are then against a Krav defending against *all* of those attacks. I'd do the pmaths, but I was always very bad at probabilities, and my maths O-level was *slightly* further in the past than yours! |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
I see the guys over in U.S have had a few problems regarding gencon and wotc.
Suppose ,thanks to the support we get from esdivium, we don`t have to worry about things like that over here..... |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
housemousegames are very trustworthy.I have used them numerous times and Sandra is always there to help.
I was a bit sceptical at first but once you use them once you`ll never go anywhere else. Oh and by the way welcome... |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Yup - I'll vouch for HouseMouseGames too - one of the friendliest and most reliable retailers on the internet. Your dad's credit card details are at *much* greater risk every time he uses it at an unknown garage in the UK than they would be in using them online to order from HouseMouseGames.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
I wouldn't bother to buy just one or two items from housemouse because the shipping costs mean that you still play about 50 dollars shipping. The shipping for one box only goes up to just above 100 dollars. It is much better value to save up for a whole boxful than just buy one item on its own.
Just go to www.housemousegames.com or use the link at the side of truth's blog to go to housemouse and check prices. Quote:
