Hey folks, I hope everyone is reading the Socal/Norcal smack down thread in the "Events" forum. We should all do what we can to get up there and lay it down for SoCal.

Im in Kearny Mesa. After Craig showed my friend and I how to play at Comic-Con. (My pic made it to the Heroscapers home page.) We started our first Friday Night Scape in my garage last night. 3 new scapers, burgers, hot dogs and 48 Coors Lights made it an awesome time until 2:30 this morning. We would love to have more.

We have a good group in the West LA area, and sometimes play in Moreno Valley. We have a roving monthly game that has been from Whittier to Central Cali to the Inland Empire and back. Maybe a trip to SD might be in order.

Hey Rivercard, I'm gonna be down in San Diego w/ the wife and kid early next week. Is that big hobby store in old towne still around? If so, do they sell HS or flames of war minis? Thanks bud.

Boom, Im almost positive you are refering to Game Town in Old Town. They are small not big...lol... But anyways, I talked to them last week and they were out of HS items. They are willing to order items but it can take up to a week. If your interested we can get some kind of SoCal League fund going because I get a 30% discount with them. (The normal 10% in store plus a 20% Military discount on top of that.) BTW, How do I get a SoCal League Member tag under my name on these boards? LMK when you will be in Town and maybe we can set up a game in my garage. We are doing another Friday Night Scape tomorrow and I think we will have 4 guys this time.

I just tried to call them again but they are closed. I do know that Game Empire sells Flames of War in Clairemont Mesa. Contact me for more info, I'll do the leg work for ya.
