Marvel Heroscape figures used as HeroCLIX Custom

I've always had a problem with people repainting a HeroScape figure it then calling it an exclusive Wave "X" figure. Now someone actually has the nerve to take a Marvel HS figure and rebase it as a HeroCLIX.

So I wrote him and asked how he can take credit for a Marvel HS figure in which all he did was rebase? I will post his reply, If or When he replies.
