Fav. Scenario?

What does scenario does evryone like playing? My personal favorite would be.... the one were you must look for the rod in the swamps with the monster or maybe the one were you must camture and hold the brigage.

( the castle does not count)

I made a map where there was a small castle in the center, and both players started off an equal distance from the castle. It was like king of the hill, but this was called "King of the Keep."

That was pretty fun, because the castle was always up for grabs, flyers came into play a LOT in that game, you could get someone in really quick to control the door, but it took several turns to get any squads in there to defend the castle. Before you could get a squad there, your opponent would fly over the wall and kill your flyer, and they'd have to try and get someone to defend it as well...

It went back and forth several times, it was quite fun.

We also tried something new out last night, which is just a small thing, but would make any game that much more interesting.

I placed two glyphs of Brandur on the map, with the stipulation that each player could only claim one of them. Once you claim your glyph, it is removed from the board, and the player gets to choose any unused glyph (any extra you may have lying around) and place it on any card you wish. It remains on the card and only affects that particular hero/squad for the rest of the game. Once that hero/squad is destroyed, the glyph that was on their card is removed and is no longer in play.

This made the game much more interesting, because I claimed my glyph really fast, and then guarded the other glyph from my opponent. I got the attack +1 and put it on the Blastatrons, since they are weak unless you have a squad of Soulborg rats to bond with. I just used it to boost my weakest card, next time I may decide to make my strongest card stronger, as the blastatrons still didn't last too very long, because Drake was all over them, almost every turn.

I really enjoyed this modified glyph usage, it made the game more interesting. However, I will probably use it differently in the future...there are so many options!

i made up my own scenario to my own map, theres a pic of it here
ignore the customs
but the scenario is the army #1 has to defend the castle and army #2 has to attack it. Sounds familiar huh? NOT i added a twist. notice the ice? well notice the extra ice and snow off the feild? each round each player rolls the d6 i have

1:don't place any new snow tiles down
2:CHOOSE between putting down 2 ice tiles or 1 double snow tile
3lace both 2 ice tiles and 1 double snow tile
4:CHOOSE between putting down 4 ice tiles or 2 double snow tiles
5lace both 4 ice tiles and 2 double snow tiles
6lace down all the tiles you have (6 ice 2 double snow)

you hace to place the new snow/ice adjacent to old snow/ice
