Just saw the 9th (second to last) episode of Shogun. Likewise I may end up watching the old Richard Chamberlain series again, which I dug out of my DVD collection. I have a pal who's been coming over every week to see the series, which I get On Demand from FX and can watch at my own convenience.

So far I think the old series was superior, but I enjoyed this newer one also. I don't know if all the loose ends will be tied up next episode, and some on youtube are speculating about a Second Season of the new show. So we'll see.
