It's not a Planeswalker - it's a big fancy cosmic horror type thing that lives between planes.

Karn and Ugin are both truly colorless Planeswalkers, though - I imagine they will get a few of their own colorless spells (like Ghostfire) and their own colorless units (Artifact creatures, Eldrazi) that can be used by any Planeswalker. They'll likely be very powerful units themselves, though, in order to compensate for the disadvantage.

Yes. Those card pictures are definitely works-in-progress. So the stats from that picture are very much subject to change. Look closely at the White Hero and the Colorless Squad. The white hero is called "Kor Kitesail" and the colorless squad is "Eldrazi Spawn", but those eventually changed to "Kor Aeronaut Captain" and "Eldrazi Scions".

15 spell cards is interesting, one or both of the new Planeswalkers will be deckbuilding right out of the box.

I figured it would have a rules insert. The original one was a little sparse and I wonder if their plan is to add on piece by piece with the expansions.

I also wonder if we will see bubble packs with common figures eventually. Or maybe multiples of the same squad in a box like SotM.

Nothing much on the web yet from Spiel for AotP:BfZ. Only found a couple pictures so far and they don't show any cards, just the Eldrazi figures.

He looks like he might as well be a 3 hex model. Doesn't look like you can fit a unit on the hex directly behind him with how much he overhangs it

Very surprised we havent got more pictures from Spiel. Hoped for a better look at some of the figures.

It looks like at Spiel they set up a demo for AotP with the base set along with the cooperative BfZ scenario; and only revealed the two Eldrazi army cards and four figures, but nothing else from the BfZ expansion. I guess we'll just have to wait until January to see the rest of the army cards and 15 spell cards.
