You can always find a weakness in any character, but in general she has a special that bypasses defence dice on 3 seperate characters for an instant kill. That's huge.

She wouldn't be very good againts an army of all large and bigger characters though. But against your normal mix of squads and medium heros she is devistating with her mobility and special ability.

I would pick her over nilf 70% in most cases I believe. But I'm not really a big hero person, I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket. Braxas sure is a good egg holder though especially if you can get Kelda as well.

You can do that because the only thing engagement prevents you from doing is normal attacking any other figures besides the one you're attacking.

So you could use it on anyone who isn't engaged with you or the figure your engaged with.

Engagemet also prevents you from special attacking figures besides the one you're engaged to (unless of the course the special attack on an engaged figure affects others - e.g. explosion attack, fireline attack).

so a "special attack" can only be used on a figure that you are engaged with? i thought that a special could be used against anyone within range and a regular attack could only be used on engaged figures? someone help me out please.

Three distinct types of attacks:
1. Normal attack
2. Special attack (will say SPECIAL ATTACK on the card)
3. Special ability

If the attacker is engaged, then a normal attack or special attack can be used only against the engaged figure(s).

However, if the special attack on an engaged figure has an area of effect (e.g. explosion or fireline or shotgun blast) then additional figures can be affected.

Special abilities (e.g. Sudema's stone stare or Braxas' acid breath) can be used against non-adjacent figures even if the attacker is engaged.

Example:
Nilf breathes at orc engaged to him. Orc dies. Nilf breathes on Major X17 two spaces away.

versus

Nilf breathes at Major X17 engaged with him. Major doesn't die. Nilf cannot breath on orc two spaces away.

versus

Nilf moves away from X17 engaged with him and takes a wound. Nilf breathes on orc and Major.

What we need is one of the picture examples......with ice arrows.

Sudema's main ability is that she can Auto kill Large Huge, Braxas nt being able to is a Huge difference
