Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
NAME = PLUTO
SPECIES = OLYMPIAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = HELL LORD PERSONALITY = COVETOUS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 7 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 6 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 420 HADES' HELM Start the game with the Glyph of Helm of Invisibility on this card. If Pluto is equipped with the Glyph of Helm of Invisibility, he cannot be targeted by opponents' non-adjacent figures for any attacks or special powers that require clear sight. LORD OF HADES After Pluto destroys a figure with his normal attack, you may place the destroyed figure on this Army Card. When attacking or defending with Pluto, before rolling attack or defense dice, you may remove any number of figures from this Army Card and roll an additional die for each figure removed. OLYMPIAN FORTITUDE Whenever Pluto would be destroyed or receives enough wounds to be destroyed in any way except by this special power, he instead receives two wounds. Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
Couldn't we just use the wording on Balder's card and do:

Looks pretty good to me.

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
Biggest issue for me is how we feel about the Helm of Invisibility. Is blanket defense like that too strong? I'm willing to tweak it a bit (add a d20 roll?) if we think it's necessary.
Also not sure on Class/Personality. Chime in there if you have an opinions. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
Personally, I'm not too worried about as you can engage him and make him lose it, but it could definitely be a game changer with the right figure.

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
I like Covetous Ruler and Olympian Fortitude over Magical Defense, fwiw.
I'd ask the competitive guys on the glyph. The current discussion some of them are having would make me worried about the Helm of Invisibility being in a glyph pool. Edit: So the question is which figures are you worried about getting the helm? Because Pluto or Apocalypse can bring it to any game and give it to them. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
I like using Olympian Fortitude and limiting the Helm to just this:
This figure can move through all figures and is never attacked when leaving an engagement. |

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
I'd be fine with that on the Helm. We could also alter the power on his card to give him the "cannot be targeted" part as long as he has it equipped, but leave it off the actual Glyph.
I think Olympian Fortitude is more interesting (since we rarely use it), but Magical Defense is more thematic, since his power runs on magical stuff and he's bested guys like Doctor Strange. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
I also like Olympian Fortitude. For the glyph, I like quozl's suggestion, but with the addition that his power gives him the anti-range effect while he has the Helm. Simple, balanced, and cool.

Re: The Book of Pluto (Design Phase)
That's a good solution. The one I was thinking of, or along the lines of, would be to add a caveat "while unengaged".
