Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
We watched Condorman last night. We hadn't seen it since the 80s. I remembered pretty much everything, or knew it was coming soon enough, and it held up just as well as I thought it would. Which is not well at all. Still it was fun to make the kids to see it.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Both John Wick Chapter 2 and Lego Batman are very good. Neither were as good as John Wick 1/The Lego Movie but still worth theater price nonetheless. It's a good weekend to go to the movies. It's a personal mission for me to make sure either of these are #1 over... other films.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Just got back from Rogue One for the first time. Very much enjoyed it. There weren't any cheap deaths. In fact I think that all of them were meaningful and carried the right emotional impact. Vader gets the award for possibly the best pun ever. There was one scene where I caught a very subtle camera trick that worked really well. It's a conversation between Jyn and Cassian. When the camera is on Cassian, it has a slight shaky cam thing going on. When it is on Jyn it is almost perfectly still. It was a nice piece of almost subliminal story telling.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Watched Shin Godzilla, the Japanese Godzilla movie that came out last year. It was much, much better than that 2014 movie: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, co-starring the Muto, with a cameo from Bryan Cranston and an even smaller cameo by Godzilla. I think that's what it was called.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Watched Superman vs. Batman last night. Not too bad, and certainly better than I had expected. Sure there was a slow build up, but I think it seemed like they were trying to cram a ton of stuff into one movie to show the buildup leading to Batman and Superman fighting each other. We all loved Wonder Woman, and can't wait for her movie.

My daughters and I watched The Ring and Annabelle yesterday. The Ring was really good and Annabelle wasn't great but was scarier for my girls, which is what they were after
