I thought the game was fine. I had no vested interest in either team. I mentioned the penalties because I did have an interest in the Bills because I lived near Rochester NY for 7 years back when Kelly, Thomas, Reed and Smith were kicking butt, except in Super Bowls. So I was frustrated that the Bills receivers were blanketed so much.

Tampa had a good game plan on both sides of the ball. It was a good team effort.

The highlight of the game was the most glorious incompletion I've ever seen. Mahomes managed to throw a perfect 30 yard spiral after getting tripped, while almost parallel to the ground, and hit his receiver in the face mask.

It reminded me of the Julio Jones catch on the sideline late in the ATL-NE Super Bowl a couple years back, in that it was an amazing play that will be forgotten because his team lost.

For how harassed he was, Mahomes continued to throw catchable balls while being tripped, held, and falling to the ground. But Tampa’s coverage was too good.

Speaking of crazy plays forgotten because the team lost, this one from Kearse with the Seahawks is just unbelievable.

So Brady is pretty much cemented as GOAT at this point over Montana and Rice, huh? More Superbowl victories as a player than any individual franchise has and can no longer say he's just a product of Belichek.

The Chiefs receivers were more than usually poor at catching, too. I don't disagree that Tampa's defense was good, but normally surehanded receivers failed to catch two balls that literally bounced off of their facemasks. One in the endzone. (edit: Among other surprising drops.)

It'd also feel weird to have a sports Rushmore that doesn't have baseball represented but there's only a few people that have really dominated the sport that don't have some scandal tarnishing them (Ruth, Mays, Aaron, etc.) and I don't think anyone in recent years has had that same level (Pujols and Miguel Cabrera had a good couple year runs, but not quite the same).

Then again, actual Mt. Rushmore has its own set of problems.

Babe Ruth has to be in there. His numbers are pretty impressive especially when you consider his skill as a pitcher.

I think you need to separate out individual sports from team sports, too. I don't think you can make the case for Venus (or Serena, IMHO), without also putting Michael Phelps up there. I'm sure golf fans would claim it should be a golfer, though I don't know which they would say.
