KRYPTON'S RESOLVE
Once per game, when a friendly Kryptonian, Champion, or Legionnaire within 6 clear sight spaces of Supergirl would be destroyed, you may use Krypton's Resolve. That figure cannot be destroyed in any way this round. At the start of the next round, destroy that figure.

FREEZE BREATH 9
Before taking a turn with Supergirl, you may choose up to two figures adjacent to Supergirl. Roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 9 or higher, the chosen figures subtract 1 from their Defense number and may not move this player turn.

KRYPTONIAN DEFENSE
When rolling defense against a normal attack from a figure who is not a Kryptonian, if at least one shield is rolled, all blanks rolled count as extra shields.

SUPERHEATED STRIKE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 1. Attack 5.
If the defending figure was affected by Supergirl's Freeze Breath this turn, you may count all blanks rolled as skulls. If Supergirl inflicts one or more wounds with this attack, the defending figure receives one additional wounds.

KRYPTONIAN DEFENSE
When rolling defense against a normal attack from a figure who is not a Kryptonian, if at least one shield is rolled, all blanks rolled count as extra shields.

SUPER STRENGTH

FLYING

That makes her more of a brawler, steers into the consistency I've seen of her being last one standing of the three original ones, gives the trio a special attack, and a way to work around "one wound max" type defensive powers, while also incentivizing and helping remember Freeze Breath. Allows Freeze Breath roll manipulation to be an easy way to help reign in and keep points on target.

If people are cool with it, (Tagging Heroes momentarily), I'll run a few games with her this weekend, then when Comet goes out we can plan to send her with him for finishing out restests.

Here's what I'm thinking then, unless people feel its a little too much. Change to Freeze Breath wouldn't have changes any rolls in the games, and could see just going 10 there as well if it feels like too big a drop there.

COMPETITIVE REVIEW BOARD CHECKLIST

Efficiency- Check to see if your design is providing armies with turns/moves/etc. to a degree that would make it difficult or impossible for an opponent to keep up with your output.

1. Does your design allow itself or figures to move/attack/take a turn/etc. instead of/in addition to your normal turn for revealing an Order Marker? Is it granting these benefits to too broad a range of units? Does it combine with other powers to create overly long or powerful chains of actions?

Freeze breath aligns with a few defense reduction powers in that it happens before moving.

Reused Powers
Verify that the design is reusing powers in place of creating new ones, where reused powers could implement the same theme and mechanics with no differences or only trivial differences. Verify that any reused powers have the correct text.

No real Kryptonian defense reduction power that could be used instead.

Power Level
Verify that the character's movement, attack, range, and defense (in conjunction with any special powers that enhance those stats) feel consistent with the capabilities of characters with analogous powers and abilities. Verify that the character falls into a similar point range to characters with comparative powers and abilities.

The Superman synergies are coming along nicely. Do we need to specify normal attack with aggressive assault, now that we have precedence on rerolling specials? She'd be nasty with Omni-Man.
