That's not right.
Couldn't disagree more. It's freakin' cool, I'd keep one as a pet.

cycoduck is surprisingly tart
I wind up with spiders like this one:

in my front yard, killing the wasps and mosquitos. So, they get to live. On the flip side, I've been bitten twice by black widows, so they die on sight.

I'll try to find the picture of the orb weaver I had in my backyard, thing was 8" from leg to leg. Scared the crap out of me when I walked into it's web without noticing, but cool as hell. I'll find the picture and post it just for ej.

I'll only kill the life-threatening ones. Or whenever my sister gets the scared out of her by one I'll kill it for her.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Homba is a puppet of Ne-Gok-Sa
I catch them in a cup and put them outside. I am inconsistent though, because I kill roaches and ants. Is there a difference, or is it all the same?

I kill dangerous spiders inside (where I've never seen them) or outside (where I've killed Black Widows in the nooks in the bricks around my flowerbeds). I hate to do it, but it's a genetic imperative I think. I couldn't stand it if in some freak occurance one of them poisoned one of my family. I have little kids, so a warning is not a reliable option.

This is why i like living in England - we only have one type of poisonous snake and that's it, we're pretty much safe from anything else.
Now if i saw that spider in my house i'd have to move out!
As for killing things, i don't intentionally kill creatures. I have had fairly big spiders on my bedroom wall and i've plucked up the courage to get them in a container and chuck them out the window. One time i even saw one of them run across my back garden after i'd thrown it out and it still looked huge! I even saved a beetle that was in my house. It had managed to get knocked onto it's back and it was there for like a day and i thought it was dead to i turned it over and it ran off.
