I do like this chart. One thing it really highlights is just how over their head the Mariners have been playing this year. It also shows how Cincinnati needs pitching...they either win big or lose. I think the game last night showed that they have offense. Last place teams don't usually get 3 All-Stars and have two of them hit HR in the game.

Still some games left, but it was a good day for the Cubs. Got the win, LA moved ahead of the cardinals in the Wild Card, and if Pittsburgh can hold on, the Brewers fall another game behind.

Exciting times in the National League! AL is basically all set, but NL two races are dead heats! A little shocked at the Cardinals collapse, and then I realized they have played well enough to stay in the hunt for the last wild card. Brewers and Cubs have just played a bit better. Really sets up for an exciting final weekend of baseball. No rooting interest in the NL (Pirates are out), but I'm excited to see what happens.

Here in Baltimore, I dimly remember that the baseball season is not yet over for many of you. But I'm not really a fan of the sport, so I forgive myself for not paying attention when my local team is doing poorly.

I've watched more games this year then I have in a long time. Became more and more interested in how the Brewers were doing after a great first half of the season, then I endured the collapse but stuck with them even though they have had a lot of second half collapses in the past that sunk the ship completely. Sticking with it payed off this year though as watching the team, and especially Yelich, play this last month of the season has been pretty enjoyable. Hopefully they can win tomorrow and avoid the Wildcard play in game.

Just bought tickets for Game 1 of the Brewers series. Don't know who they will be playing yet but I know I'm going!

Seriously though, that’s a great team in Milwaukee. NL Central should be plenty tough next year.
