HS Codex - Writers and Artists Needed

Greetings.

The HS Codex is in need of new writers and artists. If you're interested in keeping HeroScape alive through the Codex, please read the details below. Also, if you know of anyone who might be interested, don't hesitate to show them this thread.

I've @ mentioned a few people I know are around and are good writers or artists. I will be adding to the list.

Artists:

Spoiler Alert!

As an artist in the Codex, your primary job will be to supply art for the various articles. A lot of the articles will have pictures, but for those that don't, we will need you to provide accompanying art. Hand-done drawings or digital art are equally fine.
Your Art Director will be @Evar-Scarcarver . Requests for art will be sent to him, and he in turn will select one of you to create the art, depending on the specifications provided by the author of the article.

Writers:

Spoiler Alert!

As a writer in the Codex, your primary focus will be fan fiction. Because of the new format the Codex will be in, we need short pieces or chapters of fan fiction. Pieces longer than 2000 words (about 3 pages in Microsoft Word, size 12) will be difficult to include. We encourage long fan fictions. We just need the chapters to be short. Single installments will work equally well.
As a writer, I will be the head of your department. This means requests to start new fictions and the like will go through me, so that I can keep everything organized. We need to make sure that you can deliver chapters on time, and that the fiction won't fade out half way through.

I appreciate the shout out but I doubt I could contribute an ongoing story based in Heroscape. I could certainly contribute a one off on occasion.

I am glad to see you a part of the Codex. I am not sure if Fan Fic would have survived here without you TGRF, at least not in its current state. Keep it going.

Why thank you. And thank you for the poetry offer. As far as I know, there is no need for poetry (not that we couldn't make one), but I will keep you in mind for that, as well as stand-alone fictions if we need someone to come in.

As long as the individual chapters are good, we're fine. It's actually quite easy once you get the hang of it. Check out Orcs Blade's Kit: Young Ninja for some great examples of short chapters. He does it really well.

It isn't. Fiction writers and artists are something that we need though.

Oh, glad you cleared that up for me. Personally, I skip over all the fiction parts.

All my available time which isn't much and may about to be nill. is going to writing my fan fiction. Check with me again in a year when I'm done with school.

If you need short stories I can whip those together in no time. Ongoing and fixed schedule stuff you'll probably only get out of our younger enthusiasts.

Agree all the way. They should make you heroscape cultural advisor or something like that, even if it's just an honorary title.
