NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Starman
- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. Pass - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the game. Pass - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. Pass - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit too powerful or too weak. Pass - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and what are the stipulations on the power if there are any. Pass - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. Pass - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. Pass - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. Pass - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. Pass - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. Pass _____________________________________________________________ Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 150-160 - Give a brief overview. Jack did pretty well here, but 1-v-1 against similarly costed heroes is his best matchup. Map: Custom

Jack did very well here, but some key whiffs by the opponent played a large part of that. Map: Custom Units: Starman (150), Captain America (240), Spider-Man (250), Sub-Mariner (250), Kid Flash (110) (1000) VS Baron Helmut Zemo (200), Booster Gold (290), Zangrief (150), Black Knight (150), Spider-Woman (210) (1000) Unit Summary: Damage: 2 wounds to Booster Gold, 5 to Zangrief, 1 to Black Knight. Forcefield X: used 1 times. Reluctant Hero: used 1 time; 2 OMs moved.

Luck was on his and his team's side again though. I'm bumping him to 160 after this. Map: Custom Units: Starman (150), Ms. Marvel (350), Allen the Alien (400) (900) VS Iron Man Mark V (280), Iron Man Mark IV (250), Iron Man Stealth Suit (270), Ragdoll (100) (900) Unit Summary: Damage: 1 wound to Ragdoll, 4 to Mark IV (who was de-powered after using Uni-Beam). Forcefield X: used 1 times. Reluctant Hero: used 1 time; 1 OM moved.

Map: Custom Units: Starman (160), Cecil Steadman (180), Agent Hunter (130), Mokcingbird (130) (600) VS Crime Alley Crooks x3 (195), Gambit (210), Grey Gargoyle (200) (605) Unit Summary: Damage: 4 wound to Gambit, 3 to Grey Gargoyle, 1 Crook destroyed. Forcefield X: used 5 times. Reluctant Hero: used 0 times; 0 OMs moved.

All wrapped up here! I like him at 160 moving forward, Forcefield X helps him stick around and he makes a great cleanup figure. There's some nice strategy in trying to maximize his powers. Trying to keep the X on him makes him tough to play with a lot of boosts too, which is a nice thematic bonus, as Jack tends to work alone.

The opponents were mostly non-fliers without a lot of multiple attacks, but I was already feeling like 160 might be too low. I like the way he's playing mechanically, so I'm going to bump him to 170 and see how he does.
