I think these Marvel heroes and the similar Star Wars ones are a great way to get kids hooked on the wonderful pillars of geekdom we hold so dear.

And Star Wars transformers are a cool idea...the Darth Vader Death Star in particular is awesome. I don't own any, but if I suddenly had more disposable income than I knew what to do with, you can bet they would be on my shopping list.

Yes, the idea behind the SW Transformers was good, but the "robot" form sculpts look horrible. Emporer Palpatine's face looks like a green blob, and Obi-Wan just looks too much like a robot for my taste.

Keep this in mind when you say that you think they're stupid.

I see young kids all the time at church with these figures, they love them.
Plus they are much safer than an action figure, I rememeber my action figures and you could pull off amrs, legs..ect. Too many small parts for a child to swallow, but these are just one piece of plastic. I say go ahead hasbro bring on more of these. They're like Beanie Babie for boys.

That's because they're not supposed to be robots. They're Mechs.

How Beast won the right to be the first X-Man in Marvel Heroscape.

Levi Woo who?
I collect these too, but I think its kind of cheap the way they packaged the Spider-Man ones so I haven't bought any of those. When I see these mega packs at my local stores, I'll snag 'em. Thanks for the heads-up!
