Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
NAME = CRIME ALLEY CROOKS
SPECIES = HUMAN UNIQUENESS = COMMON SQUAD (3) CLASS = THIEVES PERSONALITY = GREEDY SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 1 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 3 POINTS = 65 FOUR-MAN JOB After revealing an Order Marker on the card of a Unique Thief Hero you control and taking a turn with that Thief, you may take a turn with Crime Alley Crooks. MUGGING After taking a turn with Crime Alley Crooks, if you inflicted one or more wounds with any Crime Alley Crook's normal attack this turn, you may immediately move a Unique Thief Hero you control up to 4 spaces. Figures moved with Mugging will not take any leaving engagement attacks.
Spoiler Alert!

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
Comic options were a problem here, obviously. Not sure if there's anything around that won't require some photoshopping. Many apologies. If anybody finds anything, I'd definitely appreciate it!

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
I don't think Gordon Freeman is a good choice for card art.
I feel like the name is sort of clunky - I'd prefer just "Guild Thief" and lay out the rest in the bio. I don't really like "Mugging" as a name, either... but I can't think of any better. And I think Den of Thieves could probably work with any Thief Hero. Let the commons band together. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
I could go with just "Guild Thief." I was attempting to follow the precedent of the 5th Precinct Beat Cops, but I think we've gone more generic with Street Thugs and Hired Guns and Bodyguards in the past and no one has minded.
Originally, I just had these guys down as "Crooks" but I figured that wasn't going to fly. I guess I could make the Den of Thieves work with just them, but I wanted to motivate folks to draft Unique Thief Heroes more, rather than just drafting a stack of these. Also, I don't know if there are other common thief heroes coming out later that might have other bonding that this would disrupt. So I'm kind of leaning against it .... Edit: And Commissioner Gordon isn't a good choice for card art either. None of the art is good. But it's the best I could find. Any of it would need photoshopping to work, though. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
Wow! I can't believe C3G is still working on the criminal faction in terms of squads and/or commons. Cops are robbers are just so much fun, and there is so much that can be done... I guess adding to the criminal faction is almost like tradition at this point. lol

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
First thing I see is something about New Orleans and then Gordon Freeman, and I think this is a joke.
I'm pretty sure there aren't any Crooks in C3G yet, so that should probably change. I like mugging just fine. There aren't any Gambit comics with these guys for pictures? |

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
I'm guessing the name on this used to be "Crook"?

Re: The Book of New Orleans Guild Thief - Design Phase
I'd like a thief design but I think it needs a power that when they cause a figure to lose a glyph, the glyph is destroyed (stolen).

I dunno, seems less fun to remove glyphs from the game than to knock them around, IMO. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
