Too Human

I played the demo for Too Human today and I thought it was quite breathtaking. The gameplay mechanics are very original and there seems to be quite a bit of customization with some deep RPG elements. Interestingly, there are several mentions of Valhalla, and there are appearances by a Valkyrie that descends from the sky. It releases August 19th.

I'm eager to try this one out.

Loved the demo. The attack mechanic is really fun. I'm excited to try the full game too.

The camera mechanic is really counter-intuitive. It's going to take a LOT of getting used to.

Also: Soul Shackle? Great avatar.

Hey, if you had fun before with the demo, apparently the rest of the classes are set to time release...

Berserker is supposed to be already available, and commando is supposed to be available by aug 12th.

I'd be more keen on this game (which looks very promising) had it been on multiple platforms, specifically the PC, where it seems like it would fit even better. Sadly, I'll be skipping this one until a few years from now when I can pick up an Xbox360 at a friendly Gamecube-level discount.

The gameplay is pretty heavily tied to the dual analog mechanic, but I guess that doesn't stop it from being played on a PC.
