Yeah, the idea is that it’s essentially a one-time get out of jail free card. They do a lot of bait-and-switch tricks where she pretends to be Constantine then socks an enemy in the face with a shapeshift fist.

Drop the line about not taking any damage then, but put in a line about no LEA on the switch. The no damage line made me think the attack was ignored completely. Since the switch occurs before def. dice are rolled, it's clear the first figure isn't going to be taking any damage from the hit. Just clarify that she has to roll def. dice after the switch.

Grasping Vines is just a brainstorm, but it would be nice to have a short ability like that (if possble) that would give him a Constantine tie and something to do other than to punch and offer defense boosts. I think the current setup encourages him to be a bit too suicidal a play style. Maps with those terrain features you can play him normal, but sans those you want to play him suicidal and pod up around the tree(s) placed.

Is that a particularly bad thing? Swamp Thing charging in, getting torn apart, then rebuilding while the rest of the team does their thing doesn’t feel off to me.
I’d be more worried if the Avatar boost was so good that it merited purposefully making poor decisions just to kill him off, but I really don’t feel like it is. He’s a weaker and more situational Invisible Woman basically, and each plant he places means he revives one less time. I dunno, are you seeing something I’m not? Stat line is totally negotiable, if being more of a bruiser would help. I think modern ST should maybe be low 300s? He’s definitely been more powerful than that, but 300-330 feels like a good “on an average day” range. |

I think that may be too much then when combined with John Constantine. He's already got a d20 roll power that prevents you from attacking him at all, if you get by that and get to roll attack dice, to have your attack completely ignored by a power on her card would be really frustrating. |

He's really not a brash bruiser, so yeah the charge him in and get him killed while everyone else comes in is not really on theme. He's a Protector first and foremost, and in at least the second rendition of the book he's more a begrudging participant than anything else. Hyper aggressive definitely isn't his MO.

RELUCTANT HERO If there are no Order Markers on this card and a Unique Hero you control is destroyed, you may move all unrevealed Order Markers from that Hero's Army Card to this card. Could the JLD use a OM save unit? |

Well Avatar of the Green does encourage you to use him as a defensive piece at least.
Should we use Evergreen Tree Destructible Objects there? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
