People don't get banned willy nilly around here, normally you have to ruffle a lot of feathers, and a ban should never come a surprise. Type the way you talk in civil conversation and there is never a reason to fear admins.

YES. Take it from me, you have to really do something to ruffle the admins to get yourself banned. Usually, this involves saying something outright mean to another member of the community or otherwise creating disturbances for the purpose of creating a disturbance. I have never done something like that with that intention, though I've done my fair share of feather ruffling with perfectly good intentions.
