The Book of Mister Mind C3G DC PUBLIC EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION 26 MOTLEY CREW Comic PDF Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Origins set. Its model number and name are #088 / Mister Mind. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Mister Mind is an inchworm from Venus, with extraordinary telepathic abilities. He can easily control the minds of others, and is a long-time nemesis of Captain Marvel (now known as Shazam). He often utilizes his Monster Society of Evil to enact his plans. NAME = MISTER MIND
SPECIES = VENUSIAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = TELEPATH PERSONALITY = MANIPULATIVE SIZE/HEIGHT = TINY 2 LIFE = 1 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 200 CONQUERING PARASITE At the start of the game, place Mister Mind on an enemy Unique Hero's card. While Mister Mind is on that card, that Hero is the Host. At the end of each of your player turns, if Mister Mind has a Host, place a green Mind Marker on this card. When the Host is destroyed, immediately replace the Host with Mister Mind. MENTAL DEMAND After revealing a numbered Order Marker on a card you control, if there are: • 3 or 4 Mind Markers on this card, instead of taking a turn, you may remove 3 Mind Markers from this card to take temporary control of the Host and take a turn with it. • 5 Mind Markers on this card, instead of taking a turn, you must remove 5 Mind Markers from this card to take temporary control of the Host and take a turn with it. After taking a turn with the Host, you may not take turns with any other figures you control. MONSTER SOCIETY MANIPULATIONS Whenever the 20-sided die is rolled for a figure within clear sight of Mister Mind or the Host, you may remove a Mind Marker from this card to add or subtract 2 from that roll.

Alright folks, we are live and ready to conquer this process.
Been a while since this write up, but I think we generally liked the place. I think there's a bit of text in Mental Demand that we've agreed was safe to start cutting since the write up that can save some more space. |

There are few telepaths who gain a boost to a power from adjacent friendly telepaths, if he chooses one of them as his host shouldn't they get the power boost from him too?

A Skrull Infiltrator will be a soft counter draft. When the Host dies it will force a roll off between the Skrull and MM getting to replace the Host(if it is small or medium).

The more I'm reading over it, the more I'm thinking he may need a retool, or a massive upping to his dice roll. There just aren't a lot of situations where you'd want to risk losing a turn for a 35% chance of taking a turn with an opponent's figure. And the general lack of Conqueror Synergy probably makes that part really just trinket text.

A Conqueror can lead the Arthrian Invaders, but you have to choose them to be the Conqueror before Mr. Mind turns them into one. I think that's the only synergy.

Hmm, if Demand feels a little iffy, would this be a place for something like this?
MENTAL DEMAND After revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card, you may take temporary control of the Host and roll the 20-sided die, adding 12 to the roll if you control the Host. Take a turn with the Host; if you rolled 13 or lower, you cannot choose or target any figures controlled by the player who previously controlled the Host. [blah blah blah] The idea being that you always get a turn, but the Host can resist the orders - if he successfully resists the order, he won't attack or harm his friends. But you can still, say, steer him off a cliff, or move him somewhere disadvantageous, or something like that. And of course, in a three-way match, you can still have him go attack a third party. I guess it's a way to protect your Order Markers from someone screwing with them, but that feels like a fairly niche reason to do it. You may only have a 35% chance with enemy figures, but that's where 100% of the upside for him is, IMO. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
