Hunger Games

[The Scaped]

"The Hunger Games" was a book I read and it inspired me to make a game.
First, you have to build a giant board of all different terrain, be sure to include plenty of water tiles.
Now for a background: A number of contestants from all over Valhalla have been teleported to a remote area in which they have been brought to fight to the death for Utgar's entertainment. A mighty tree stood in the middle of the arena where the contestants stood. Various glyphs and survival items were strewn around the tree. The weak players ran for the trees while the strong gathered the items they would need. The Hunger Games had begun...

Number of Players: 2+
Points per player: You may have only one figure with a point value up to 300 and no more.
Basic Rules: after every 3 rounds you must have had 1 drink of fresh water and 1 meat glyph (make glyphs with meat on them or use someting else in it's place) if you havn't had one of each of those after the rounds, take 1 wound. The last one standing wins.

Whenever I am in the middle of fighting against another warrior for my life I always call timeout after 3 rounds so we can have a snack.


So if you have to go and eat and are engaged you break engagement and can take a wound. So does that mean if you didn't eat by round 4 then you don't have to eat again until round 7?

Okay, every round you don't eat after the third round you gain a wound marker. Also the best way to play is with tons of people so your not always under attack.

It says you can only play with 1 figure...so chances are you are going to be engaged with someone sooner than later and since both players would be using heroes then they would most likely not kill each other on the first attack...therefore they will be engaged and would need to break engagement to go and eat.

chances are, you won't be fighting the same guy for three rounds, correct? You can also make food counters which you can hold onto when you don't need food, so you can carry it with you. You gain one of these counters from standing on a meat glyph. If you want to, you may also add little shop every were that you can buy with gold, say you start with so much gold and can steal gold from your victims.
