PassiveAssassin's Maps (new, 3/4/08)

Hey cats-
I have printed a ton of maps from this site, and wanted to upload a couple of my own. I don't have much time to build them (I play mostly at work on my lunch break, so I keep all my stuff there), but I've been using Virtualscape a bit at home.

Gamma Swamp
1v1, 1 SOTM + 1 TT
Download
Small battleground, good for melee as well as range. (It's also a map you can use the snow monkeys in with reasonable success!) I played with heavy snow, normal ice.

Pentathalon
1v1, 2 ROTV + 2 RTTF + 1 FOTA
Download
Lots of tunnels- this map is tough for double-base figures because of all the stairs and ladders, but it's interesting for a squad brawl. (and I like how it looks when built)

Looks like a lot of fun! Small and lots of coves and tunnels to take cover!
I'd be anxious to try this layout.
Have you noticed if the ladders are accessed too quickly?
It appears a Krav could get the first rung on the first turn and have the road hill covered with range 7. By the second turn they're up and have command of the castle top.

Yeah, I played a 2v2 game on it, and it ended with ranged units camping on the castle tops. Dragons are overpowered in this map as well, since they can fly over and rain terror into the opponents' starting zone.

I mostly like it for all the tunnels- it's hard to see in these pics, but you can even send guys under the central bridge to the other side.

Dude... where do you work that you can play Heroscape on your lunch? I'm pretty jealous of that!

Haha, well, I work at a video game company, actually... so it works out pretty well. There's an unused conference room in our building, and we just keep everything set up in there.
