I personally felt the 3 unit combo I tried there was extremely strong (I made the same Titans trio comparison in my report), but I also seem to have more trouble taking down Cyclops II than most players. That was definitely when his defense was at 2 though.

No it looks as if it occurred just before Final editing. He was running at 305 it looks and he wanted a 20 point bump to match up with Shadowcat's 175

We did get a casual 3 player game with myself, Bats and Arkham on TTS Friday night where Ark played the Rebels and Colossus felt fine there. Not an official test and only one game, but he'll get plenty more play On Deck and Ark has already shown he's willing to tweak these by changing Sabretooth.

I will say that I had a lot of auto wounds there, though. I think only one of Colossus' wounds came from a normal attack.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Game 1:
Arkham: Colossus(325), Sabretooth(270), Wild Child(160), Jean(240) (995)
vs.
LordVenoc: Martian Manhunter I(300), Human Torch(225), Livewire(230), Faith Herbert(170), Trickster(70) (995)

Result: Human Torch 1/5 wounds. Martian Manhunter and Livewire unwounded.

Colossus killed Faith Herbert and Trickster.

Summary: The Rebels definitely got hit hard by the multiple attacks, and especially the auto-wounds from Human Torch. That's the main factor here, and they were pretty much decimated on that front.

Game 2:
LordVenoc: Colossus(320), Sabretooth(270), Wild Child(160), Jean(240) (990)
vs.
Arkham: Star-Lord(250), Cap(240), Iron Fist(260), Nebula(240) (990)

Result: We had a die on defense for Colossus land on a corner leaning towards a blank, but we re-rolled. So we played out the finish with either result just to be sure.

Had it been a shield like it was after the re-roll: Colossus 5/6 wounds, and Jean Grey unwounded.
Had it been a blank: Iron Fist 4/5 wounds.
That one turn made all the difference.

Colossus managed 3-4 wounds in the match. Sabretooth's auto-wounds did the majority of it.

Summary: The Rebels managed to take out Nebula before she could deliver any auto-wounds, so it was a nice test of strength to see just how full on normal attacks can handle the matchup. Fist was slinging some high dice with the support, but it still proved to be a challenge on both sides of the fence cutting down the support. Ultimately, it came down to a multiple ending affair, where both sides could have won had it gone 1 more turn, based on that one die roll.

I still feel he's fairly balanced. Can be a tough nut to crack with Sabretooth, but that can be the case with a few factions/synergies where priority is a bit split. But I'll let LV weigh in.

Yep. Didn't feel too unbearable, and didn't feel overwhelming playing as him. There's merit to the idea of dropping his defense by 1 because armies more toward the range of Crime Fighters/Vigilantes will likely have a real tough time with this bunch, but just regular attacking definitely can pull it off (Ark never managed autowounds in game 2). Game 1 steered into pod busting and autowounding, and I think the results there speak for themselves.

Any better turn efficiency down the line will be the main place to watch, or any folks giving more movement based powers increasing the optimization of Cyclops II as a pick. Where he's at now, with the faction as is now, probably pretty safe unless people want more across the board manageability.

Most of the wounds on Colossus in that 2nd game, fwiw, were from rolls of ~3 skulls. So I don't feel like it's 6+ attack or bust. But I've played him to death and the results I feel back up a degree of balance, so if there's still a desire to see him nerfed, I'll just lower it and have him be a little overcosted. Not really worth any additional grief

Oh yeah totally accurate. People with 6 attack are just gonna have an easier time to get 3 skulls. Definitely still gonna be possible in the low ranges, and I think bunches like Vigilantes realistically have other tricks that will help them here. If a defense drop does happen, I think it should probably be more based on overall factional play down the line rather than right now.
