Welcome to the 2014 Dallas Texas Winter tournament! I would be very excited if you would come.

I will need help with maps! I myself cannot supply any of the jungle, (not owning any) but I will be able to supply 1 Guardian, 1 Fire Isles, 1 Jotuns Gap or 1 Ruins of the Pine Tree Marsh.

Thank you so much to R˙chean for assisting me in the idea and creating a time to host this tournament. I am very excited to host and am very happy to be able to create my own Dallas tournament which I have wanted to do for so long.

Thanks Baxter.

Hmm... I will put this one on my calendar and talk to my wife. Going to another Texas event sounds fun.

Re: Dallas Winter tournament!

The Sunday thing is my fault because I work Saturdays. (like a trained monkey)

I can make this and help with maps and stuff. Thanks for taking the lead to put something together.

We could do dignan's Scraps.

...and what is this nonsense about me allowing you to host an event?

Oh and this would not be the first ever dallas winter tournament, just your first ever Dallas winter tournament

A must read for all 'Scapers!

Oh sorry, didnt realize there had been winter tournaments before, also scraps could be fun, but i do think it will limit the type of event, for instance capture the flag would be very difficult to do with no start zones. It would also limit point values (as it says on his scraps thread) according to the size of the map.

Either way is wonderful, I would be happy to do either.

Depending on the format, I'm interested in attending. I'll likely be there.

scraps would be the format, not just the maps. It is a heat of battle type format. You wouldn't lay an additional format over it. You would do scraps or ctf; you wouldn't do both.

Oh, now I see. So you are not only suggesting maps but the format.

Re: Dallas Winter tournament!

Well more so the format.

Dignan has made some maps for it but we can make new ones.

It is up to you; it was only a suggestion. It is something he came up with last summer and we have yet to try it out in an event format.

I haven't voted as of yet.

I'm in!

I can help with maps as well. When the date gets closer, just PM me what you want me to bring.

I voted pick your poison, but scraps sounds good too.
