Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
Okay, let's put it to a specific vote:
A) B) C) D) My vote is for A). I have to say, though, I absolutely adore D) and hope we can use it for something at some point. In fact, I'll actually make mine a joint for A) and D). |

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
Not terribly excited by any of those, A could work though is enough of the extra stuff can be cut away and the focus is just on the face. I'll throw a few ideas in to the ring after a quick image search.

...Okay, those are creepy and terrifying, I think I may need to rethink this poll because they're awesome.

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
Yeah, they better fit my idea of what a nightmare come to life might look like. Something even a hero might turn and run away from. I like the last one best.

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
Okay, after looking up such words as terror, terrifying, horror, horrifying and nightmare, I managed to, while scarring myself in the process, find these options:
A bit cliche, but nicely iconic: I love how subtle yet creepy this is: And for when you just want your brain to melt: Last edited by japes; July 24th, 2017 at 10:21 PM. |

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
That first one does look like it was meant for a card. I could see that being used in the future.
I really like the second one. It has much the same feel as 'pencil eye'. I would like to hear what @A3n thinks for sure. He has come up with some amazing images so far. |

Some of the possibilities here remind me of the Many-Angled Ones. You could try googling them up if you wanted to get some more potential images:
Plenty of good choices in here already, though. |

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
I like the last one of Yoda's. Also, Yoda's second one is from Five Nights at Freddy's 4, so there's that.
life's short, why not make an impact on the world? make some peoples lives better, have a few good laughs, and then when it's all over go out with BANG! |

Re: The Spellbook of Waking Nightmare - Final Editing
Okay, for me, it's between this one:
and this one: *snip with a definite preference for the first. In fact, unless there are objections, I think I'll just ask if we can go with spider-eye. Last edited by japes; July 24th, 2017 at 10:22 PM. |
