No problem. Hopefully I can do enough so that someday I can talk you into doing some customs for me. I wish I had the talent.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Me and my friend have talked about using Warpath before. I think it maybe the leading candidate right now. Had not seen the falcon bird before, I have already picked up some unpainted bird minis from other lines that I'll end up using. I even have an idea about using the Headpool stand from the last Deadpool set mount the bird on. Just remove Headpool, replace it with a bird, and move it onto the edge of the Ironknife base. Thanks for keeping this project in mind and keep the ideas coming. Spirit Ironknife is one of my favorites so he will definitely be getting done.

Started prepping for the Storm Shadow Initial today and noticed something that needed to be changed to the Arashikage Clan Ninja power.
ARASHIKAGE CLAN NINJA Storm Shadow is never attacked when leaving engagements. When attacking an opponent's adjacent figure with a normal attack, add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled. When defending against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled. When attacked by a single figure within 3 spaces of Snake Eyes and Snake Eyes rolls 3 or more shields, deal 1 wound to the attacking figure. Several squads have a combined attack power (SHIELD Agents, AIM Agents, Amazon Warriors) so I needed to clarify what happens then. |

I ran the Hero & Squad tests for Storm Shadow today. Thinking about a possible change so I'm going to post what I have and my thoughts on the tests before moving on to the team tests. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hero Tests - Does it pass, Yes or No? yes - What should be the unit's point value? 230-240? - Give a brief overview. Storm Shadow splits with Kraven who matches up quite well with him, dominates Gambit who had a chance to score a win in the first one but could not get any skulls out of his SA. Iron Man barely survives in his win before getting dominated. Shang-Chi is very similar to Storm Shadow and they split their matches, although Storm Shadow struggled to roll skulls on attack when he lost. Then Dredd puts down Storm Shadow with some early lucky attack dice, then falls to him once Storm Shadow has a chance to engage. Map: Custom Swamp Map

With 9 AIM Agents to chase down and slay, Storm Shadow just can't keep up as they spread out and hit him with multiple ranged attacks. Here are my thoughts: I rolled 3 shields on defense quite a few times, even if some of the attacks originated from more than 3 spaces away, indicating that aspect of the power is useful. Not nearly as powerful as Shang-Chi's regular counterstike power though. His 2 attacks of 4+1 were pretty deadly, so much so that I'm thinking I might want to drop it down to 3+1. In the hero tests ranged attacks, especially from those who can move up and grab HG on him, were pretty deadly vs his base 4 defense. Was thinking about bumping his life up by 1 to help him better survive while closing the distance, plus he is pretty hard to kill in the comic so 6 seems okay. As far as points, when facing a hero one on one, he is looking at 230 points or more as his two attacks of 4+1 was slaying guys. When confronted with squads though he was brought back down to earth, of course as a Ninja he can bond with the Hand Ninja squad to help deal with that. If I drop his attack to 3 and bump his life up to 6 I'd have to rerun the tests but I think he would fall more in line with the 220 point target I was shooting for. |

Not only would this keep him alive more (intention of Life increase), but it would also give a better chance of rolling 3 shields. While on this topic, do you need to roll 3 shields or can you use the automatic shield as one and then roll 2 shields. I can't remember where but I think I remember a C3G figure having a similar thing and it was determined that they must roll all 3 as the wording on the card says "rolls 3 or more shields". With that thought it seems pretty hard to roll 3 shields on 4 dice, again showing that 5 Defense may be better. I know there are already 3 powers, but I would really like to see some sort of climbing power on this card. I remember alot of scaling he did in the comics. |

Yeah you need to actually roll 3 shields, the free shield is not rolled and thus does not count. I gave Snake Eyes 5 defense vs. Storm Shadows 4 to show that Snake Eyes was slightly better (which is true to the comics), but maybe I give them the same defense, and leave Snake Eyes attack at 4 and change his attack power such that he only gets 2 attacks if one of them is at range. Thanks for the wording suggestions, they look pretty good to me so I'll do some editing.

So change Snake Eyes Double Assault to this.
UZI ASSAULT After Snake Eyes attacks with his normal attack, if he is unengaged he may attack with his normal attack one additional time. This gives Snake Eyes one melee attack of 4+1 (sword), two attacks of 4 (uzi) at range 5, or possibly one melee attack of 4+1 (sword) followed up by an attack of 4 (uzi) at range 5 if the first figure he attacks dies or moves away from him. Storm Shadow then has two melee attacks of 3+1 (two swords), or the SA (throwing stars) at range 3. Both have move 6, life 5, defense 5 (+1 melee), disengage, and a counter strike type power. Storm Shadow can move/attack/move/attack/move, where Snake Eyes must move, then attack. Snake Eyes disappears and can not be targeted until he reappears. I think that might work for me. |

I am always surprised when Dredd defeats anyone who is not a Criminal. Those were some lucky rolls in the first match and it looks like he went back to dead Dredd in the second. For comparison basis I would put Dredd at around 210-220 when facing a non-Criminal.
