Chardis's bio is being built as the starting point for the others. Right now its got links to the other Heroes of Molten Sea, but they don't seem to go anywhere quite yet.

Kato

Heroscape Character Bio: The battle rages all around. Metal clangs against metal, harquebus howl in deafening explosions, men cry the agony of their mortal wounds.

Kato Katsuro's heart beats in his eyes. His senses grow painfully sharp. The bright red blood of fallen warriors screams out at him. The smell of sweat and gun powder fills his nose and mouth. This is what he lives for. The action swarming about him is a symphony of his composition.

Suddenly an enemy breaks through Katsuro's elite samurai guard, a note he did not compose. The screaming warrior bears down with his sword. Kato quickly blocks and kicks the man backwards.

A flash burns across Katsuro's peripheral. His heart jumps into his throat. In the split of an instant he feels death falling upon him.

In that same instant the sun blinks out of the sky. The thrumming sound of constant battle goes silent. Everything is suddenly still.

Kato turns his head slowly to his right. A sword hovers, frozen, inches from his face. He steps away from the blade's edge, bewildered as he scans the horizon.

Time itself has come to a halt. Everything, everyone, ever face, perfectly still in the dim light of the overcast sun.

Looking upward Kato Katsuro sees that, unlike everything under it, the sky does not stand still. A swirling tempest of black clouds churns violently above.

At the whirling center of the storm the sky suddenly breaks open and a blindingly bright light streams down, engulfing Kato in its glow.

Out of the break descends a bronze-skinned man with wings like a great hawk.
The man touches a hand to his temple and Kato feels the earth fall out from beneath his feet. He is being pulled upward, but the feeling does not frighten him, instead his heart is filled with an overwhelming peace.

Kato removes hi s helmet and mask, revealing his young and rugged face. He reaches out and takes hold of the winged-man's outstretched hand.

Together they fly upward, into the light, and into another world.

Heroscape Character Bio:
"Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus..."

The prayer, spoken through a throat choked with sorrow, echoes off the walls and off the shelves and shelves of mildewed books and scrolls. The air is thick with the smell of dust and age. The room is alight with the glow of a hundred candles, dancing their slow flickering dance.

"...Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae..."

The weeping man kneels, bare-chested, at the foot of a silver chalice, a holy relic. He recites his prayer of penance over and over, his voice shrinking to a hoarsely rasping whisper. His chest is marred with the long crooked lines of a vicious scar, running from neck to abdomen and shoulder to shoulder, the form of a cross.

"Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus..."

He is haunted by her memory, by the sin of his childhood. His life he gives over in service of the Holy Christ, a payment for his sin... It is not enough, not nearly enough, but it is all he has to give.

"...Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Amen."

Standing, the warrior slips his arms through his undershirt and pulls a suit of chained-mail on over his head. Over the mail, he dons a bright white tabard marked with a scarlet cross, the symbol of the knights templar. Carefully he takes up the relic and exits the small room through its only entryway.

He stands squinting for a moment, giving his eyes time to adjust to the bright sunlight, and then begins to wade through the vast pile of bodies strewn about the courtyard. The bodies are those of the warriors slain at his hands and the hands of his knights, warriors who stood between him and the Chalice of Fortitude, unworthy heathens.

"Hail, Sir Dupuis! You have the chalice?"

Dupuis holds the chalice up, letting the sun glint of its polished surface and then tucks it away as he mounts up on his steed and rides off. His faithful knights follow after him.

Heroscape Character Bio:
Silvery phantoms fly about her blurred form. When she brings her flashing twin blades to rest, the wooden men surrounding her remain still for a moment, and then all at once they fall to hundreds of cleanly cut pieces.

An elderly man, hunched over an ivory cane, peers out from the shadows of a wide-brimmed hat.

"Your training is nearly complete Moriko, only one task remains." The old man speaks in a wavering voice, "You must kill me and win your place as my heir."

"Master, no I can't do that," the young ninja cries.

"Do not dishonor yourself and your bloodline girl!"

"I can't... I won't... I won't fight you master. The old ways are flawed. It doesn't have to be like this! I won't fight you!"

"You will fight or you will die," the old man growls.

Moriko lays her blades at her feet and crosses her arms behind her back.

"Foolish girl," the old man shouts as he draws a blade hidden within the shaft of his cane and dashes forward with unexpected grace and speed. "You are not worthy!" He brings his blade down on the girl, but it tastes only air, the girl vanishes from beneath it.

Thanks for that Uprising. Seems the links are mixed up tho. I erased the links.

If you all can get them to work thats good. None of them work for me.

All the links are currently missing their set type, which is why they're failing. Just add a 2 after the last = in the link and they work fine.
