Vision rolls 3 skulls, 2 shields, and 1 blank (the statistical average!).

Vision moves up and just provides support for his allies early on with Analytical Avenger. The Injustice League takes out Winter Soldier. Falcon takes out Reverse-Flash. Grodd and Giganta kill Cap. Giganta kills Falcon. Vision enters the field and brings Grodd to 5 wounds. Vision phases through most of the attacks coming his way, but he struggles to return wounds to his opponents. Vision kills Giganta then Grodd gets a couple wounds on him. A couple failed phasing rolls leaves Vision dead at Grodd’s feet. Close game.

Vision rolls 4 shields and 2 skulls.

Vision moves up to support his team again - the Avengers mainly activate the Falcon/Winter Soldier duo. The Soldiers abuse Heroic Duty to inflict some engagement strikes on Mister Incredible and keep him away from Vision, who he would wreck with Reckless Property Damage. Meanwhile, the Incredibles struggle to do any damage. Falcon kills Violet. Jack-Jack gets a couple wounds on Falcon, and then Mister Incredible goes after Falcon, but Vision’s extra shield keeps Falcon alive.

Falcon kills Mister Incredible, then Elastigirl kills Falcon. Vision spends the rest of his shields keeping Cap alive from Frozone’s attacks. Vision moves in and kills Frozone. Elastigirl takes out Cap. Vision takes out Elastigirl. Dash and Jack-Jack don’t stand a chance.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Fun design, and his aura works well alongside the other Avengers. He’s pretty durable/dodgy and he’s got decent (but not great) attacking power, which balances him since his aura is fantastic. Felt pretty good at 330 to me.

Post-game thoughts: Definitely a lucky match for Vision, but he also just got a ton of turns as the main damage dealer for his team. The -1 shield with the guaranteed OM removal upon success is pretty strong, but it’s at least fun.

Post-game thoughts: A very tight game that could’ve gone either way. Team 2 had a lot of tricks to no-sell what Team 1 might normally do, but Team 1 definitely had the edge on sheer offensive firepower. Felt balanced overall.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Vision’s attack potential is definitely his scariest trait. He’s not the absolute strongest attacker you could possibly get for his cost, but he has enough power to be scary when coupled with his crazy OM removal potential. Other than that, Analytical Avenger is a fun new power, and Reactionary Phasing is tried and tested.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Fun stuff! Analytical Avenger is a really nice add to the faction. I can see it being a bit of a bummer if you get a bad roll for the power at the start of the game, but that's where it'll be beneficial to have an army that can take advantage of all the results, which is a fun army building challenge.

I noticed that Archie felt like Analytical Avenger was his most powerful ability, while I definitely felt like Phase Disruption was way stronger. I think that mostly comes down to the nature of our armies - I was using stuff that saw Vision get lots of activations where it looks like Archie was mainly working with Cap and Bucky until endgame. If we get a third tester here, I'd be interested to see how they think Phase Disruption feels.
