I was hoping for a Rebuild, but neither game really went like I was wanting/expecting. And honestly, after 4 tests at this upgraded defense (2 wins/2 losses), I'm feeling fairly good about pushing forward.

I think he'll make a good denial piece, and he's almost like Jason in a lot of ways; Jason can auto-move into position, Cliff can get carried by Elasti-Girl. You don't really want to destroy Cliff or Jason cause then they'll just come back, so their player can use them to bog down the opponent and force that opponent to work around them. And they both have a passive effect; Cliff has a Daring Decoy style power while Jason has his autowounds.

REBUILD 15
When Robotman is destroyed, place or remove Wound Markers on this card until there are exactly 5 Wound Markers on this card and place his figure on the Army Card of another Unique Hero you control. At the end of each round, if that Hero is not engaged, roll the 20-sided die, adding 5 to your roll if that Hero is an Engineer, Inventor, or Scientist. If you roll 5-14, remove a Wound Marker from this card. If you roll 15 or higher, remove two Wound Markers from this card. When the last Wound Marker is removed from this card, immediately place Robotman on an empty space adjacent to that figure.

PATROL GUARDIAN
If Robotman is adjacent to another Troubled figure you control and is engaged with at least one enemy figure, add 1 to his normal attack and subtract 1 from his defense. Figures engaged with Robotman cannot attack Troubled figures without the Patrol Guardian special power.

TOUGH
When rolling defense dice against a normal attack, Robotman always adds one automatic shield to whatever is rolled.

The blue part is a little unwieldy, but I think it's the closest precedent we have? Probably worth putting some heads together and seeing if you all can figure out a more concise way of expressing this.

(The end-of-the-round timing on the repair makes him slightly trickier to phrase than Doomsday and such that can just have a "Begin your next turn with 6 Wound Markers" sort of phrasing, because you won't necessarily get another turn before it's time to roll for Rebuild)

The edits in Patrol Guardian are more recommendations than hard edits. Mentioned this recently in I think Megatron's thread, but I think the "we're talking about the personality" explanation is a little overkill and it makes this power in particular a lot harder to parse.

In Megatron's thread the issue was with Valiant being both a personality and a publisher now. As long as we don't have any Troubled publishers we should be okay here.

I dunno, after the market bubble burst, I think most comic book publishers are a little troubled ....
