Wave 8 not available till 2008?

I just got this email from House Mouse Games. Is this an old email that just got lost in cyberspace and just now arrived? I thought Sandra had announced only a few weeks ago that the new sets would be available in late November. Can someone verify this news?

I just checked the wave 8 and 8.5 thread for you. Looks like next year for them.

No its better to get it all thrown on you at once in one huge heap. That way you can go broke getting it all at the same time.

I have a feeling that if we DO have to wait until next year, it won't be a very long wait. I'm going to hope for mid-January. As busy as I am it'll seem like no time at all. Besides, with all the recent buying I've done I won't be able to even play all my new figures until then.

I'm still waiting for wave 7 to really hit my area!...At the same time the wait allows for me to save up...I mean, I don't know if you guys know this but HS stuff can get expensive...

They really need to pick up the pace; one wave release a year is not acceptable.

If they are trying to kill the sales and the game along with it, having only one new release a year will certainly do it.

Actually, when you look at actual store releases for most areas, we didn't see wave 6 until early '07 (at least here anyways).. and we're finally seeing a hint of wave 7.. that's 2 sets this year plus another master set and Marvelscape. Hardly a game-killing year for '07!

Since I still have not bought the new master set yet and I'm short 3 wave 6 blisters and 1 wave 7 blister, I think I am perfectly content waiting until Jan or even March to get the new small expansions, the terrain and large creatures. That gives me a month and a half to get caught up on things.
