It was directly on it. It was just about to set though. I will redo this tomorrow. Finding the right time of day will be tough I guess.

Yeah, that afternoon sun doesn't do it. That's why retakes on the same day are almost impossible to do. (More reasons I retired ).

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Philosophically Passes. There aren’t any published Legionnaires. However, I don’t feel the first unit should fail. Only a subsequent unit that creates a problem should fail.

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Pass, though I wasn’t able to test 12th Level without any Legionnaires.


- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
Pass. The choice in whether to roll defense or use the Shield Belt is really fun.

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
Pass

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass, but not without other Legionnaires to put his 12th Level into play.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass. Even though I don’t have any Legionnaires to test with Brainiac 5, I can see 12th Level being very useful when we do have them. I don’t believe in marking Fail if I can see a pending future use for an ability.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Pass. The design presents players with a great decision on whether and when to use the Shield Belt. Low skulls (0-2), and I’d likely take a chance on defense. High skulls (3+), and I’d use the Belt. Both choices risk losing the Belt, unless the attacker whiffs. This type of choice reminds me of the choice I have to make when playing the Lanterns and deciding whether to use the Battery to cancel the attack.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes

- What should be the unit's point value? 130. I don’t think Brainiac had anything to do with the poor performance of Team A.
- Give a brief overview. Team B slaughtered Team A. Brainiac opted to roll defense except in the first 2-skull attack. The Ninjas and Elektra simply ganged up on him, and Punisher’s Shotgun was simply too weak to whittle them down.

Units: (A) Brainiac 5, Punisher, Huntress, SHIELD Sniper x 3 (600) vs (B) Elektra, Bullseye, Hand Ninja x 3 (600)

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes

- What should be the unit's point value? Less than 130 without other Legionnaires. Again, I’m not an expert at cost, but the low attack value + Range 1 + fragility of Shield Belt might put him at less without Legionnaires. However, that 12th Level is a major ability.
- Give a brief overview. Team A pressed the attack on Super Skrull in this battle. Once again, Team B enjoyed some wicked luck, especially Super Skrull’s insanely effective Rock Wall Bounce 3. Brainiac only killed one Skrull Warrior. The one wound shut down the Shield Belt in two rounds.

Units: (A) Brainiac, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Man, Hush (1000) vs (B) Super Skrull, Skrull Warriors x 6 (1000)

hmm ... we probably should be sending people Timberwolf with him or something ... it seems difficult to get conclusive results when he can't use his main power.

- Army Test/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 120-130. In this game, Brainiac showed a little more offensive potential. He actually did some damage, and Shield belt does help when attacked. However, 130 seems a little high for what he does. I’m thinking 120, but his D20 power can easily give him 5-10 points.

- Army Test/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass. The Glyph of Shield Belt is definitely useful. It helps protect anyone, and isn’t all that powerful with it’s high chance of blowing up. Great glyph to be used in any game.

Units: Green Arrow (Connor Hawke), Doctor Fate, Plastic Man, Creeper, and Bodyguard (705) vs. Doctor Light, Elektra, Bullseye, and Hand Ninja x2 (705).
