16 Card Draft Heroscape Meetup!

I will bring a map with 4 starting zones. We will do a draft from a pre-determined 16 card pool before each game. Points per player will be determined as needed, from 300 to 450 points per player. All Heroscape supplies will be provided by me, Sir Dendrik.

I will provide a 16 card draft pool, attempting to make pools balanced within themselves. Generally there will be 3 of each common squad/hero available, and 1 of each Uncommon Hero (and 1 of each Unique). Drafts will be "French", starting with the player who rolls the highest d20 and continuing clockwise, then starting with the last player and continuing counter-clockwise, going back and forth until either all cards are drafted or everyone has maxed out their allotted points. You do not have to commit to the number of commons you take right away, but when you pass your draft turn you cannot add any more units.



Draft Pool #1: "The Revenge of Erevan Sunshadow"
The idea here is that Erevan Sunshadow is the only special attack available (Deadeye Dan and Gurei-Oni also have special attacks but they are underplayed as well) in a pool with some units that you'd like to have special attacks against. The pool is generally on the weaker side, based around making Erevan Sunshadow playable.

Draft Pool #2: "The Curse of Ne-Gok-Sa"
This pool is all Unique units, so Ne-Gok-Sa and Kee-Mo-Shi can do their thing. I have never used the Ebon Armor before, and there are plenty of Unique Humans to synergize with them. I included a lot of counter striking units like Torin and Sharwin Wildborn to try to balance out the Krav Maga Agents without their usual counter of Sgt. Drake Alexander in attendance. Not a lot of points here so we'd have to do like 350 points each in a 4 player game.

Draft Pool #3: “Sir Denrick’s Epic Adventure”
Lots of Huge figures in this pool so Sir Denrick can do his thing. Haven't used Zelrig in a while because start zones are close, but I think it's time. Werewolf Lord has a few bonding heroes to make non-bonding, and Sacred Band allies to make Tormented, so that's fun. Range is scarce, so the Tagawa Samurai Archers and Protectors of Ullar will be more playable.
