Another (very good) Warlord for my Romans... I'm in heaven. Though I'm not sure, in a tourney, if I would sacrafice squads of Legionnaires in order to get Morgrimm alongside Marcus.

Take Marcus out and there goes the movement bonus. Hmmm... decisions, decisions, or a push for a 600+ point tourney.

Morgrimm seems solid but I think with the Dwarves I prefer the tank Migol. With Romans Marcus gives them the necessary speed boost which leaves the interesting question of NGS vs Morgrimm if you are looking for another strong melee hero

For Romans I would go with.

Morgrimm 120
Marcus 220
3x Romans 370
2x 10th 520

If it was a straight 500, I would drop 1 Romans & add Isa-Marco (30)

This guy is pretty much perfect. Another dwarf hero to bond with, another warlord to bond with, some cool power, decent stats, and not too expensive.

He pretty much cements dwarves as my favorite army.

This guy makes the booster pack for me.

...kind of awkward how he bonds with Romans but then again so does MBS =S

This guy is my favorite of the pack. Another great option for Romans.

But upon my first reading over his stats I got the feeling he'd be relatively squishy. Though... now that I think about it there is some other dwarf that is 60 points with less life and similar defense that isn't easily killed.

Commander Strike looks very interesting, I can see where it would be very useful, and with 4 attack he can do his own damage as well. I think he is a marvelous addition to the Dwarven ranks!

Tough with 2 defense translates to about five defense. Pretty respectable.

ahh, but it's only a maximum of 3 dice rolled...worth remembering.

EDIT: and it only works on normal attacks/EDIT

It's also a minimum of 3 extra dice. That reliability is useful, even though it unfortunately doesn't affect special attlacks

An extra defense dice tends to make a lot of units better.
