Re: The Book of Zaeus
1) What happens if a one life Crixus is the figure targeted by the Rail Gun, if Zaeus rolls more than 1 skull, and if Crixus rolls 1 shield ?
Crixus will take 1 wound and will die, but what about the adjacent choosen figure ? 2) What happens if the figure targeted by the Rail Gun dies and if the adjacent choosen figure is Crixus ? I think Crixus will take all the excess wounds, since they are unblockable and Crixus will not roll at least 1 shield. Last edited by dalu; September 7th, 2011 at 04:47 PM. |

Re: The Book of Zaeus
If Crixus is attacked and rolls a shield, only one wound is inflicted so the chosen figure would not receive any wounds.
If Crixus is the chosen figure, he doesn't get a chance to roll a shield as no defense dice are rolled by that figure so he'll take all remaining inflicted wounds. |

Yeah, that's a pretty straightforward one. OSD does not apply at all there. |

Re: The Book of Zaeus
Keep in mind also that it says "the most wounds Crixus may take for this attack is one" not the most wounds figures adjacent to Crixus. What Crixus takes in the way of wounds doesn't mean much of anything to those next to him. So even if Crixus only takes one wound and you have several more wounds to distribute those are shuffled to the adjacent figure. That is if that one wound kills off Crixus.

Nope. "If Zaeus inflicts more wounds than needed to destroy the targeted figure, all excess wounds count as unblockable hits on the chosen figure." Since he only inflicted the one wound, which was exactly enough to kill Crixus and not "more wounds than needed," Crixus' OSD actually protects his neighbors, too, in a way. Re: The Book of Zaeus
130 points?! E-gads, that's bad luck.
Handle origin: I used to film comedy skits with my friends. I didn't want any cursing in them, so I made up new insults, like "dendrik". Then Sir Denrick came out, and the rest is history. |

Re: The Book of Zaeus
So I'm curious, what's the logic behind the wording for GORILLINATOR ATTACK BONDING?
Movement bonding just says to move the figures, battle frenzy just says to attack again, Double Attack doesn't count as another turn... The 'take a turn but not really' wording just seems kind of needless and roundabout to me My Repaints and Mods: Updated 1-13 My Custom Cards: Updated 4-15 My Custom Superheroes: Updated 1-13 My figure images for online games: Alliance figures, Utgar figures My Etsy Store |
