Winter Soldier starts with Zombie’s Amulet and chooses Cap for his Duo.
Round 1: Initiative Fighters. Zombie advances. Jessica Jones advances. Ms. Marvel shares her enthusiasm with Luke to boost his stats and he advances.
Cap and Winter Soldier advance.
Zombie advances. Ms. Marvel and Luke Cage advance.
Cap advances and tosses his shield at each enemy, but they all hide in the jungle brush. Winter Soldier takes height and snipes Jessica Jones for a wound.
Zombie advances. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage fail to hit Winter Soldier in melee, despite her finding the “X” on him for Pound the Pavement.

Round 2: Initiative Fighters. Zombie advances. Jessica Jones hits Winter Soldier for a wound, then he reveals his “X” before she can try to find it, but he fails to hit his unblockable. The Amulet of Damballah goes flying, however. Luke Cage takes on Ms. Marvel’s enthusiasm for a stat boost and smacks Winter Soldier for three wounds.
Captain America fails to hit Jessica Jones, but Winter Soldier destroys her with his metal arm.
Zombie advances. Ms. Marvel picks up the Amulet of Damballah, stretches out at range, and KO’s a whiffing Winter Soldier. Luke Cage can’t get past Cap’s shield, even with the bonus from being on the plane and from Ms. Marvel.
Captain America avoids a swipe from Luke and punches Ms. Marvel for a wound from height, sending the Amulet flying.
Zombie advances and equips his own Amulet. Ms. Marvel uses the attack boost and takes height and hits Cap for three wounds. A juiced Luke Cage finishes Cap off.
Winter Soldier had OM3.

Round 3: Ms. Marvel Embiggens. Initiative Fighters. Zombie backs off. Ms. Marvel stretches out and punches Zombie from height for three wounds. Luke Cage jumps on the Amulet and then punches Zombie for two more wounds.
Zombie punches Luke for a wound, sends the Amulet flying, then heals a wound.
Zombie advances but fails his Walking Dead roll on Luke. Ms. Marvel hits Zombie for a wound on her second attack from height, then Luke finishes Zombie off.

Unit Summary: Luke was able to combo his Street Fighter bonus with Ms. Marvel’s Enthusiasm for most of this game, so he was pretty nasty and the Zombie Soldiers did not roll terribly well. In a match up this small, the extra attack and defense boosts really shone.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Inflicted ( wounds on (Winter Soldier (1), Captain America (3), Zombie (4)).
• Boundless Enthusiasm: Used for the attack/defense boost (2) times on (Luke Cage (2)), and for the turn bonding (X) times on (X).

Lockjaw teleports Ms. Marvel and Cap forward.
Invisible Woman flies to the high point of a tower and Mister Fantastic Stretch Walks over to guard the ladder.
Bucky scouts ahead. Sgt. Rock rolls all skulls on a Pineapple Grenade from extreme height disadvantage and Invisible Woman whiffs on six defense dice and takes four wounds. Mister Fantastic also takes a wound. Falcon advances.
Thing Clobbers Bucky, who is a road block. Human Torch and Mister Fantastic both fail to hit Sgt. Rock, but Mister Fantastic does Rubber Wrap him.

Round 2: Initiative Inhuman Soldiers. Cap gets Ms. Marvel’s enthusiasm, buffing his stats, engages Mister Fantastic, and hits for six skulls, inflicting two wounds.
Mister Fantastic leads very well in the clutch. Human Torch Flames On, avoiding two swipes and missing Cap, but hitting Sgt. Rock for two wounds. Human Torch can’t hit Rock with an attack. Thing gets a full Clobber on Cap, but only rolls 3 and 4 skulls on 10 attack dice and a juiced Cap blocks both hits. Invisible Woman hits Sgt. Rock for a wound, but Mister Fantastic fails to.
Lockjaw engages Human Torch, who takes three wounds after whiffing on 8 dice.
Thing double Clobbers to KO Sgt. Rock. Mister Fantastic engages Lockjaw, but can’t hit.
Sgt. Rock had OM3.
Human Torch walks away from Lockjaw, taking a swipe, and decides not to risk Flame On, but also can’t hit Cap. Thing Clobbers a Full Life Cap to nothing. Mister Fantastic fails to hit Lockjaw.

Round 3: Ms. Marvel decides it’s now or never and Embiggens. Initiative Inhuman Soldiers. Falcon reveals an Order Marker and Ms. Marvel uses her enthusiasm to tag along with him for the round. Falcon KO’s Mister Fantastic from height. Ms. Marvel engages Thing and Human Torch to keep Falcon clean and fails two attacks on Human Torch.
Mister Fantastic had OM1.
Falcon engages Invisible Woman and attacks twice, but can’t hit. Ms. Marvel disengages and tries to hide behind Lockjaw then fails two ranged attacks on Thing.
Thing uses his full Clobber, but can only put two wounds on Lockjaw.
Falcon can’t hit Invisible Woman. Ms. Marvel catches Human Torch whiffing and finishes him.
Thing is too far away from Invisible Woman, so he no longer has a Clobber boost and can’t finish Lockjaw or move, thanks to Lockjaw.

Round 4: Initiative Fantastic Four. Thing finishes Lockjaw.
Ms. Marvel gives Falcon the stat boost and he finally finishes off Invisible Woman.
Thing engages Ms. Marvel and hits her for a wound.
Falcon hits Thing for 5 wounds in two attacks.
Thing hits Ms. Marvel for two wounds.
Falcon finishes off Thing.

Unit Summary: Fantastic Four had some ridiculously bad defensive rolls here and there, but Clobberin’ Time came on strong and the dice evened out somewhat. Ms. Marvel’s passive stat boost proved pretty valuable here down the stretch and the flexibility to get involved with the combat herself was nice, even if she didn’t do too much damage here.

• Boundless Enthusiasm: Used for the attack/defense boost (3) times on (Sgt. Rock (1), Captain America (1), Falcon (1)), and for the turn bonding (1) times on (Falcon (1)).

I dig her. I could see a slight cost bump. Like would I still take her and see value in her at 200? Yeah.

200 is about the max for her in my opinion. If she's still coming in too hot, I might suggest dropping her life to 3 and giving her 1 extra defense. Glad you enjoyed her though.

I don't think 20 points is for sure necessary. Like she didn't feel broken as is. Both games were competitive. But I think I'd favor at least a 10 point bump from my experience in a vacuum.

I feel this teamup had quite a lot of potential. In the beginning Merlyn could have picked off advancing troops with Boundless Enthusiasm assisstance, unfortunately due to very poor rolls done by that team the Patriots closed in and with Uncle Sam laying heavy hits cleaned up with ease. I would defintely try this build again.
Side note ... Not a fan of Uncle Sam.

Even though it was a loss, Ms. Marvel really shined here taking out Mystique and Pyro by herself. The buffs she gained from her team really helped with her attacks. The match would have went differently if Wolverine didn't fall early in the game.

I played against Zak here, both times as the opposing team against Ms Marvel. She did her share of damage, it was her teammates that let her down (Merylyn couldn't hit the side of a barn). From playing against her, I would say she is definitely worth the 180 and probably more.

If the polydron gods were not against me both rounds I feel the outcome would have been different.
