Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Very fun dynamic between high life, low defense(which I only felt compelled to roll for once), a 1 wound negation against attacks, and a nice auto-wounding power that can be used if you forgo the defense. Felt like a more hands on aggressor Jason which was cool. He doesn't have any built in synergy as of yet, but he fits in with some fun general armies such as the Avengers or Justice League. 300 felt about right to me with a close loss and a close win. One thing I was unsure of, was when using SS9, if you could choose a different target for the 2nd roll. As is written, it just says you can roll again, so I don't believe that would allow re-choosing a figure, and that's how I played it(though it never really came up to where it would have mattered). Just figured I'd ask for clarity just to be sure. |

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Stingers is reused off of Kaine. That said, I couldn't tell you anymore what the intent was there. It wouldn't be broken to choose different targets I'm sure. Might want to update that on both cards.

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Thanks for the test, Ark!
Pretty sure it's intended that you can't choose a new target for the second Spider Stingers roll. That's how I've always played it. |

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Double checked myself in Kaine's thread, and 2013 LP definitely wanted it to hit the same figure twice and not to change up the targets. Not for balance reasons, just for character reasons.
The current wording does work as intended, but obviously we could tweak for clarity - it's a pretty common question about the power. |

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Yeah, he doesn't have any big paper synergies. There's theoretically Crime-Master, but Poison barely cares about his normal attack, so it's not a stellar pairing.
Ark and I both dug him in generalist stuff. Maybe @LordVenoc or @Soundwarp SG-1 have some ideas for stuff we haven't tried yet? |

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Was thinking a Cap/Star-Lord build with Spidey but he doesn't seem to care much about stat boosters since you don't wanna roll defense.

Re: The Book of Poison (Public Testing)
Yeah, he just wants to sting all day, really. d20 boosters would be bigger for him than stat-boosters. Maybe a game with Joker (IV) or John Constantine?
