Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
GK opens at 11, I'd like to have the tourney kicking off by noon. So the usual times. If you're bringing a map, the earlier you show, the better. Everyone should try to be at GK by 11:30, so they can fill out their player sheets and the like.

Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
Something that I think is worth pointing out again about Gamebear's Cloak and Dagger (and the reason I recommended it ) is that each player has two start zone spaces midline on this map, but they are on Pit Trap glyphs, so any figure starting on them cannot move until a friendly figure moves adjacent to them. Keep that in mind when considering where to place your Immortal.

Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
Cloak and Dagger calls for treasure glyphs. Will we be replacing these with standard glyphs for this match?
Also, RV will you have paper glyph pools for this tournament again? I'm short one glyph for one of the pools. (I just realized there are no glyphs on jungle wall, so the point is moot. But someone else might need them) I'll be digging through my spare glyphs to see how many pit traps I have, but I may just have to print 4 of them, since I think I only have 2. If I do that, I'll probably print off a few glyph pools as well, just in case someone else is short some. TL;DR: I put a lot of thought into my posts. Please read them before responding, even if they seem long. I try to make my posts useful and worth the time. Like NERVs? Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
One of my maps call for Treasure Glyphs also. I was just going to provide one each of all the treasure glyphs to be randomly selected just like other glyphs.

Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
Okay... Good questions.
If the map uses Treasure Glyphs, the pool for those maps will be Scarab of Invulnerability, Belt of Giant Strength, Ring of Protection, and Elixir of Speed. Standard Glyph trap on every treasure glyph map for failing to capture a TG is 1 attack dice upon the offending figure, who does not roll defense. (Essentially a leaving engagment. No, it can't destroy wounded Immortals. I will be providing the paper glyphs I have, I believe I have 5 or so sets, of which I will be using none of for myself, so that should cover anyone who needs them. What I don't have however, is paper glyphs of the above treasure glyph pool. I don't own any Scarabs of Invulnerability, so bringing the three other treasure glyphs for my two maps seems a bit silly, so Person could you print three or four sets of the Treasure Glyphs instead? And you can either print up some pit trap glyphs for yourself, or you can use Glyphs of Brandar, which I assume you have many of. Up to you. For cmgames and Person: I'd much prefer to move the treasure glyph locations slightly on Cloak and Dagger and Violation. Refer to the images in the spoiler. These changes were made to make the Treasure Glyphs on both maps much less "My glyph, your glyph." Thanks.
Spoiler Alert!

Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
One other thing.
Map providers! Please provide the following info for each map you bring on a quarter sheet of paper or an index card. And please make it legible. We'll tape these to the tables next to each map for easy reference. Map Name: Map Number: (Leave blank for now) Snow Terrain info, if any: ie Heavy Snow, normal ice. Treasure Glyph info, if any: When picking up an unrevealed Treasure Glyph, roll a d20. If you roll 1-5, you trigger the trap and do not pick up the glyph. If you roll a 6 or higher, you gain the glyph. Trap: The opponent rolls 1 attack die against the offending figure, who does not roll defense. (For maps with treasure glyphs, you can copy the above word for word.) - Heroscape is a standing game. - |

Re: SF Bay Area - Immortals Tournament - January
Oh, I missed part of your question. Only the maps which have Treasure Glyphs in the build instructions will use the TG pool. Those would be Grendel, Kalt-oh-look-at-me-and-my-fancy-German-name-geist, Cloak and Dagger, and Violation.
