Re: Welcome to the ARV!
Looks like you're right: Ruined Pier and Jandar's Summoning Circle both do this.
(And Ticallan Tower has no tiles on level 1, believe it or not ) |

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
I have no personal qualm against pillars on level 1. I've had a lot of maps I enjoy do this, and as long as they're anchored well enough it's worked out fine.

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
I'm glad to read that you gents are okay with them. Frees up the pillar bases to be put to other use!

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
It is a bit annoying when transporting a map, but easily overcome. There is also rule that all castle walls need to be capped. And another that states all jungle pieces must be joined by at least two other tiles, if memory serves correctly. That being said, this is not an issue to me if the map plays well and stands up without toppling with the slightest bump. My two cents.

I agree here. As long as they are secure.

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
Any chance we could see a 3 player map contest? Not enough around here.

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
I'd like to see that. Whether it's in the ARV, or elsewhere.

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
We generally do tournament worthy maps for the ARV which usually tend to be 1v1, but I think there should be an annex for tournament maps that can be played multiplayer for those special formats as well. I'd welcome it, and think its a great idea. Its worth a discussion for sure in the ARV forum. Thanks guys/

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
I think a 3 player map contest would be awesome. Definitely would be sweet to see what people come up for that. Great idea!

I'll echo the others here that think a 3-player map contest would be a great idea.

Re: Welcome to the ARV!
Yeah, ditto that. My two older kids and I play 2v1 or 1v1v1 all the time.
