Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Toying with the Point Calculator and wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being about 10-15 too low, but it's close enough for testing for sure. yea
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Quote:
Life = 50 Move = 0 Range = 0 Attack = 15 Defense = 15 Base stats = 80 points His Demoralized Presence I'd probably value at 5 points. It's pretty minor. 10 points at the absolute max. That gives us 85-90. The Chainsaw Massacre Special Attack dok says is on par with an attack of 6. So the difference between that and his normal in points would come out to be an additional 35 points. However, the fact that he takes potential auto-wounds from it, I'd knock 5-10 off of the cost, making for a total of 25-30. So we have some wiggle room, with the low end giving you 110, and the high end is 120. Which is where I was estimating 115. All of this is just theory though, playtesting will give us solid stuff, but that was the basis of my evaluation. |

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Same on the stats. I think I rated the powers 1 and 4 instead of 1 and 3 but that might be off.

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Anybody else able to keep up with this super complex design to pass this vote through?

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Hmmm... I'm liking the SA less now. I'm getting Chainsaw loud and clear, but not Massacre. What if it allowed him to attack again after inflicting a wound, but only if he can target a different figure? Punishes your opponent for letting him get into a group of figures.

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
I wouldn't overthink it, it's merely to serve as an homage to the series title, as I tried to do with all of the characters. It's one attack, a potentially devastating attack, it can become a massacre in how deadly and brutal it is, and through multiple turns, capture the several people aspect. It'd be too good if it were able to be used twice in 1 turn, and would add another 30 points.

Re: The Book of Leatherface (Vote for Initial Playtesting)
Fair enough, just thought I'd throw out an idea to try to put the Massacre in there.
