Here. However, I've kept some of the more North East Region related ones below.

How are the North East Region NERVs distributed?

Are you worried that these ratings might lead to acrimonious rivalry?
No. I think that 'scapers are mature enough to view these as a bit of fun on the side. Heroscape tournaments that I've attended were always laidback and I haven't noticed any increase in competitiveness since introducing the NERV. One thing that might spark some acrimony is if someone starts making graphs of the progress of various people. Like this:


Which open events have been included in these rankings?
To get things going, I searched back into the mists of time and found scanty hints of great tournaments from days gone by. I used what info I could find (thanks to those who helped me out) to create a conservative estimate of the NERV changes for these prehistoric tournaments: Rhode Island National Heroscape Day (RI, Oct '06); Mass Tournament (MA, Jan '07); Beantown Beatdown III (MA, Sep '07); Roll Shields or Die (NH, Nov '07).

Next, Ancient History. That is, pre-NERV tournaments for which full win/loss records were available enabling us to start tracking NERVs: Chaos in the Capital (NY, Dec '07); Marlboro vs. The World (VT, Mar '08 ); UConn Rise of the Husky (CT, Mar '08 ); Battle at the Border (RI, Apr '08 ).

That brings us to the Modern Era. Beantown Beatdown IV (MA, Jun '08 ), the Saratoga Slugfest (NY, Jul '08 ) and Islandscape (NY, Jul '08 ), The Showdown in Jersey (NJ, Sep '08 ), Revelations (NY, Sep '08 ), Scape-a-Palooza (CT, Oct, '08 ), Fall Brawl (VT, Nov '08 ), Christmas Chaos (MD, Dec '08 ), Utgar vs. The World (NJ, Jan '09), Maryland Tournament (Feb '09), Rise of the Huskies II (CT, Mar '09), Maryland 360 (MD, Apr '09), Battle at the Border II (RI, Apr '09) and Beantown Beatdown V (May '09). Lined up for the summer we have another Maryland event (Jun '09), Saratoga Slugest II (NY, Jul '09) and Islandscape II (NY Jul '09).

Thanks nyys. I need the round-by-round results as the rating changes by individual match-up rather than overall performance. It may well be next week before I run them through the spreadsheet and get the numbers (unless insomnia strikes again, which is the reason I managed this much so soon).

Are there any older tournament results out there? Doustin? Uprising? Beatdowners? It is going to be hard work to include backdated results, as it means running through all of the calculations from that point on. If I'm going to include any older tournaments I'd like to do so before crunching the BatB data.

I tried to put a "Do you have the NERV?" link in my signature, but it didn't seem to work. Is it that I can't see it, or is it just not working? If the latter, any tips? (I went to edit signature, put in what I wanted, and clicked save signature.)
