Pokemon Tournament

Today, I decided to set up a Pokemon tournament. There is a few things you must do before entry. You must post the name you use in the game, the name of the game, and your friend code. You may enter as many games as you want just put namesof the games, your name, and friend codes. The winner will recieve a Mew that knows Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Psychic, and Thunder. And you may trade me whatever. I am asking for nothing in return. The rules are:

1. There is no cheating: Action Replays and etc.
2. Use the same Pokemon.
3. Games will be Level 100 Single battles.
4. All 493 Pokemon are allowed.
5. The limit for Pokemon is 6 per party.

And I know I had to cheat to get the Mew but it is a nice prize. I can't tell if you cheat but I need to trust you on that. Pokemon games that are allowed are: Soul Silver, Heart Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Pearl.

I MIGHT want to do this. I'm a fan of entering any Pokemon tournament I see that I'm eligible for, after all (which so far in my life has been none. so I'm eager to get in one).

The only thing thats shaking my faith is the "all Pokemon are allowed" rule, which means a lot of legendaries will be appearing... meaning I have to train meself some legendaries before the tourney starts... (Also, typically, tournaments like to ban super-powerful Pokemon like Arceus and Mewtwo because they would be way too common and overpowering anyways.)

Agh, why am I complaining? Rules are what they are; I may not even have to train more than a few Ubers in the end.

But what about Pokemon like Blissey, where part of its value comes from ONE massive stat and a few other mediocre ones?

Blissey's stat total is 540, actually.

I say no "Ubers"- Almost all of the +600 STs are Ubers, but Garchomp and Wobbuffett are still allowed under these rules, as is Mew, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and the Lati twins. None of those Pokemon are a HUGE threat (bar Garchomp), but it would still keep the tourney from being overcentralized by Legendaries.

Probably Singles, 3v3 or 4v4. 6v6 battles are fine for single opponents, but would probably drag on in a tourney.

Oh, I thought he meant like "if your defense stat is 650" or, in the case of blissey, "if your hitpoint stat is 700" then you can't use that pokemon. I don't know why I read it like that.

Okay sounds fun, I did pretty well in the nationals so this should be fun. But can I offer a suggestion, BAN STEALTH ROCK and no Uber tier! Sorry but both of those things really annoy me. Anyway so my shiny rattata is the prize it would seem?

I agree with banning Ubers, but why Stealth Rock? It's not too much of an annoyance if you know how to handle it. Plus, it's an incredibly common move for competitive battlers to use, and banning it would only cause a lot of people's team to lose a core Pokemon.

Also, the prize is a Mew... I also sent you a PM about me and Warlord Alpha battling over your Rattata (since you offered it on the general Pokemon thread). Sorry if you confused them.

Yeah I figured out the confusion. I hate stealth rock, it ehh does not work as intended in my view. It makes to many pokemon that are good worthless, and sure its a high end battling move, but thats only because it is very broken(it should not deal damage based on type IMHO).
