Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
NAME = U.S. AGENT
SECRET IDENTITY = JOHN WALKER SPECIES = MUTATE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = OPERATIVE PERSONALITY = AGGRESSIVE SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 4 POINTS = 210 AMERICAN ZEALOT If there is a revealed Order Marker on this Army Card, add 1 to U.S. Agent’s Attack number and Defense number. If U.S. Agent inflicts 1 or more wounds with his normal attack, you must choose an opponent, who may move an unrevealed Order Marker from another Army Card in your army to this card. SIDEARM SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 4. After attacking normally, if U.S. Agent is not engaged, he may attack a non-adjacent figure with this special attack. When using this special attack, U.S Agent is not considered engaged to any figures that he has inflicted wounds on this turn. RECKLESS SHIELD DEFENSE When defending against an attack, U.S. Agent always adds one automatic shield to whatever is rolled. Immediately after a friendly figure within 5 clear sight spaces of U.S. Agent rolls defense dice, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 13 or higher, add an automatic shield to the friendly figure's defense roll. If you roll 3 or lower, U.S. Agent cannot use this special power for the rest of the round. Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
And we're live! I ended up going Operative as a class here. Pulls him out of the Cap sphere just a little bit more (no Winter Soldier team-ups, etc.), but he does have that Omega Flight history and I like how the class feels for him in general.
One change I'm considering; Quote:

Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
Pretty cool write up. I'd say that the trigger on American Zealot is already easy enough to play around/build around that I would try not to get too complex with the trigger. Make it 2+ wounds and people will probably just forget about it triggering most of the time.
I think he'd be interesting to pair with Cap, actually (give Cap OM1 and Walker OM2 and 3). Pistol Follow-Up SA is a bit of an awkward title. Might be worth brainstorming alternatives. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
I like the theme on the 2+ wound trigger (dealing out 1 wound at a time is just Walker doing his job, but dishing out a ton is him going a bit overboard), but I totally see where you’re coming from with it being too much/too hard to remember. Do we feel like the 1+ wound trigger combined with allowing the enemy to move your OMs is too much?
Open to any suggestions for the SA name. Would love to get some more cheese onto the names on this card, since the first one played US Agent fairly straight. |

Really dig the write-up, and I like the enemy moving the OM.
Would it be clearer to phrase the SA like this? Quote:

Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
Is there a way we can word that so he can use the SA even if he can't use his normal attack? I had thought about that issue, but didn't see an immediate solution.
Thinking I'll move ahead with something like this whenever I get a second to run checklists. The new Cap is 220, and I kind of like it being a consistent thing that Walker comes in 10 points lower than him. Quote:

Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
I think saying "he can use this SA at weird time" doesn't preclude being able to use it at normal time. I'd be fine just FAQing that.

Re: The Book of U.S. Agent (II) (Breathing)
Definitely open to alternate name suggestions on the SA. Could do Pistol Shot SA, but it’s pretty mechanically different from our other ___ Shot SAs.
