Spoiler Alert!

Early Game: Predators kite the Doombots killing one. The a couple of Doombots finally engage killing one predator. Another Doombot dies.

Mid-Game: Predator Elder gets the needed wound on Doom to trigger the sweet sweet 3 activation turn.
Doom dies. Doom Fails his Decoy of Doom power.
One Doombot is sacrificed to inflict a lucky three wounds killing another Predator. Predator Elder injures the remaining Doombot, the remaining Predator disengages and takes the kill shot.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Predators win. Predator Elder (4 wounds), Predator (0 wounds)

Spoiler Alert!

Early Game: The Predators spread out this time trying to divide the opposition. The thing makes contact giving wounds, Mr. Fantastic makes contact giving wounds. Mr. Fantastic kills the first Predator.

Mid-Game: The Predators rain down on The Thing (Prey) triggering a 3 activation turn, The Predator Elder wounds Mr. Fantastic. The Thing hobbles over (out of shield range) to protect Mr. Fantastic from Predator Elder, swings and a misses. Mr. Fantastic does wound him though. The predator elder is surrounded and cannot move, so he attacks all adjacent enemies (Mr. F and Thing). The thing repositions in the safety of the shield, while the other Predators chase after the Invisible Woman. Mr. Fantastic stretches over to lock down the predator threatening the Invisible Woman. The now unmoving predator kills Invisible Woman, shields are down. The Human Torch get a really lucky Supernova to take out the Predator Elder and wound 1 other Predator.
The Thing lands massive damage (7 wounds) killing a predator. The final Predator is next to Mr. Fantastic and cannot move (plus no order marker for him) . The thing ambles over and delivers the final blow (again with massive overkill damage).

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Fantastic Four win. Mr. Fantastic (4 wounds), The thing (5 wounds), Human Torch (flipped, but 0 wounds)

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think that the Predator Elder gives nice variety to the Predator faction, and the essential leadership. I think the cost is about right.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I had never played using the Predators before, but I really enjoyed it. Being able to disengage, shoot from the shadows, and not be shot back is awesome. It really felt like I was positioning pieces for the perfect surprise attack. The Predator Elder is great at ordering the Predators around. In the second game I chose my prey to be a higher life target instead of the essential strategic target so that I could potentially trigger the 3 activation turns more frequently. When those 3 activation turns happen and you make it rain death from all directions, it is great . I also really liked the trained to perfection power, and used both aspects. Seems like a great unit/faction.

It's a bit odd that the first ability involves picking a Prey, then has a bonding thing. Then the last ability has conditional bonding that depends on the Prey. I think it'd make more sense to move all the Prey stuff to one ability, like so:

Predator Elder may move through all characters and, while not on water,. While not on water, it is never in clear sight of enemies.
