Also, what about the other stats? What is average defense, attack, move, etc.?
Uhhh...there is a system. Have you talked to Agatagary about this?

Agatagary is surprisingly tart
There is a better system now, I guess. This list of standards seems fine, to me at least.

These are all excellently done.

The only problem with them is now I want to draft ALL these units!

HA!

Good luck with that Taelord, Dund, Vipers, and Concan combo. A 400 pt. army truly worthy of fear...if you're the one playing them!

You are the brute squad!

Stat break.

Code:
VAL LIF MOV RNG ATT DEF
0     0    0    0    0    1
1    53    1   86    6    7
2     3    0    0   29   19
3     9    0    0   50   45
4    12   11    0   18   25
5    22   56    0    6    8
6    10   31   10    3    3
7     2   10   14    1    4
8     2    5    2    1    1
9     1    0    1    0    1
10    0    0    1    0    0
TOT 114  114  114  114  114
Looking at these distributions, there's a clear single-number median, not a range, except for range (ironic). Likewise the slots just below and above are generally one number. Then there's the "tails" on either side. I like the idea of 5 categories (maybe 6), because it is intuitive:

very low
low
average
high
very high

As for adjectives, how about durable/frail for life, strong/weak for attack, and tough/fragile for defense.

Like this:

Life (heroes only):
1-2 = frail
3-4 = vulnerable
5 = average
6 = durable
7+ = enduring

Move:
(<4 = snail) (none in this category yet)
4 = slow
5 = average
6 = quick
7 = fast
8 = speedy

Range:
1 = melee
(<6 = short) (none here yet)
6 = low-medium
7 = medium
8 = long
9+ = sniper

Attack:
1 = feeble
2 = weak
3 = average
4 = strong
5+ = powerful or very strong
(7+ = mighty) <- optional 6th class

Defense:
0-1 = fragile or brittle
2 = tender or delicate
3 = average
4 = tough
5+ = resistant or very tough
(7+ = impervious) <- optional 6th class

Just wanted to say that these are awesome. Very well done!

Looking forward to Khosumet, and I can't wait to try out some of the strategies you've outlined (esp. Taelord and the Swog, who never get used effectively in our games).

I like these articles, keep them coming!

I might like to see one for Brunak. I was very excited about his concept and interesting range of powers, but the first time I used him he got mauled by a squad of Heavy Gruts boosted by Grimnak. I thought it was a good draft idea, since Grimmy couldn't chomp him and Brunak would rip them apart, but it didn't work out that way.
