Re: The Book of Phoenix
That seems more appropriate in the DO rules thread.

Re: The Book of Phoenix
Hmm, yeah that might be a better place for it.

Re: The Book of Phoenix
If a whirlwind assaulter kills Jean Grey and Phoenix switches in, can the whirlwind assaulter then attack Phoenix? The Deathreaver Scatter + Shaolin Monk ruling from classic implies yes, but I thought I'd ask.
(I assume the same ruling would also apply for autowound powers like Selene's Inanimate Object Control, too.) |

Re: The Book of Phoenix
Not unless the card says they do.

Re: The Book of Phoenix
Yup. It's a loss unless you have a special power on a card that says you can do so..like Oracle

Re: The Book of Phoenix
Do figures moved by Phoenix Blast take leaving engagement attacks?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Phoenix
I would assume so as it does not state that they do not take them. So the default that LEAs happen would apply.

Re: The Book of Phoenix
OK, thanks. Might be worth putting in an FAQ?

Re: The Book of Phoenix
I guess the question that just popped into my head is which figure is breaking then engagement? Do they both get a swipe in? I think this is why powers like this typically don't allow LEAs.

I would suggest an update that adds the line that they don’t. Otherwise it gets messy. Besides, thematically, they would all be too busy being affected to actually swipe each other. |
