And it also sort of unofficially ties in for the Drone/Warrior difference between Alien/Aliens, the whole xenomorphs working under the Queen are more dangerous and effective idea.

Fwiw, as far as I know/can recall, this is inaccurate. Only the breathing period has a set minimum of 24 hours. Anything else (other than On Deck/release votes) pass when the A. have 5 or more votes AND B. have the vote called.

Anyway, good solution, quozl. I like it. If anyone feels another, previously released design should be changed/updated, there's a reevaluation process they may use to propose such things.

I'm on board with this change if it's felt it's needed. I'm not sure I've ever played the Aliens myself, so I can't really speak to how they feel.

Honestly, I think the largest issue with the Drones is just their survivability. Their attack is decent but they are just too squishy. One or 2 good hits and they are done for. I'd be more keen to bump up their life over their attack.

If it's changes to the actual Drones, y'all should bring it up in that thread/the reevaluation thread.

defense could help, but I think attack is probably more fitting as she seems to mostly make them more agressive. Besides, life is something that can be fixed with the eggs or something.

Yeah, I imagine the Eggs will have some sort of ability to basically regenerate them for the purposes of gameplay.

You could boost attack AND defense and maybe bump her life back down one if that's a huge change. Defense definitely makes sense, the ridgier shells look a little tougher.

I guess, to me, the Alien Drone we currently have is very representative of their role in Aliens, where they rely much more on swarming to be dangerous. The "individual alien" design seems like a different concept to me. (And I think it would actually be fun to tinker with a 'Big Chap' Unique Hero design from the first movie, I'm just not entirely sure what that looks like.)

Attack bothers me a lot more than defence, as a fan of the films. Those guys are vicious. I don't mind encouraging an ambush predator/shocktroop playstyle for this build, if that's how it ends up.

I've always seen the xenomorph in Alien as just a less developed version of the ones in Aliens. Being without a Queen or clutchmates, it had to focus on stealth and generally being more tactful. I don't think the slightly more developed xenomorphs in Aliens lack anything the one in Alien had, I think they are just more aggressive and direct cause they had the numbers. Them being more developed is explained by the fact they were terrorizing LV-426's inhabitants for months while the one in Alien was a relative newborn. The lone xeno in Alien was after a small unprepared crew, while the more experienced xenos in Aliens were fighting the more dangerous (but probably just as unprepared) Colonial Marines and proved pretty aggressive and durable under the guidance/mere presence of the Queen. All that said Alien is my favorite movie of the series, much more tense.

Just explaining why the Queen giving them more attack and defense makes sense to me.
