Cost - $10 per head, $20 per team.

Event Parameters:

• Fixed Teams: Same teammate all day; same army all day
• All Valhalla HeroScape units are allowed - no marvel figures / D&D 'SCAPE IS HEROSCAPE so, YES, it is allowed.
• Points = 580 pts per team, up to 70 pts shared - One player on the team can control up to 70 more points than the other player. (I.E. Player 1 = 325 pts, Player 2 = 255 pts or any combination in between)
• Team start zones of 28 hexes, not shared. Each player has 14 hexes each.
• Glyphs only affect units you control.
• Army card auras and enhancements state directly on the card whether they affect only units you control or friendly units, which would be your teammate's units.
• Each team will NOT be able to have more than one of any unique army card.
• Team members cannot field the same common army card.
• Maps will be caddy corner set up rather than going with the side by side seating as suggested in the rule book.

So the biggest changes are that we will have the teams sit caddy corner to each other and no shared start zones. This way, turns alternate between teams rather than back to back turns. This is a significant change from year's past and combined with the no shared start zones should shake up some of the established strategies and tactics for team play.

Yeah, I had the dates wrong on the race.

What can I say? I'm an idiot.

I seemed to recall that the race was to be on the 28th, but damned if I know where or why I thought that. I checked the official race site and it is indeed the 27th.

And since it's costing me 81 dollars to run this race - as well as a personal bet against my friend who's running it also - well, that must be my commitment.
