Keep in mind that there is precedent for modifying a mini in order to make it fit better. If you look at the book of Racheim you'll see that there are instructions for how to modify his wings in order to make them less obtrusive. I'm thinking you might be able to take a similar approach with some of your minis, particularly with that dragon's tail.

There is sometime a lag between when an SoV figure is approved and when the book is generated.

Knowing that, where is the best place to get the card PDF when a figure has been approved?

Another question, at one point there was talk of using some of the figures from Arena of the Planeswalkers for C3V or SoV.

To answer, card PDF isn't a requirement, think it's made by the team behind the scenes. I tend to get the PDF once the book has been made myself and download it then. That project wasn't official (as in by C3V), and still is going on to my knowledge in pods with like 3-4 figures at a time being created.

C3V Art Department creates a PDF after it goes through some internal checks (e.g. editing verbiage) and gets a card created. Those tend to go into the thread not too long after they're created.

There is a group working on converting the AotP set into usable cards but they are a separate project.

We're working on that slow in the Arena of the Valkyrie subsection.

Not sure if the C3V answers these types of questions or not but I was wondering if two of the newer announced figures, Gug and Star Spawn, are going to Outsiders? I bought them both but not the figures for the Dark Star squads. Trying to decide if I need to pick them up(or find proxys) sooner rather than later.
