AoA Proxy Model Thread

Either way is fine with me as long as the index happens eventually (and gets updated with additional proxies that people post). Some of these proxies look *very good* to me and I'm going to have a hard time restraining myself from buying many of them.

I'm not sure about the size of this mini, but it is listed as "giant bug." Same pose as Queen Maladrix, but admittedly it doesn't look look as queenly as the original.

In my opinion it may be easier to reimagine the Vorid as Humans or Dwarves or other species if finding miniatures to proxy becomes problematic. Obviously that could make the original design synergies tough to implement. At that point these new AoA cards will be more inspired by the originals.

I can kinda see it! I think with enough bits and some kit bashing that thing can be a good Scavorith too. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thats something Ive thought of too when looking for models. Like the Maeridians for the CVG/SoV. I tried to prioritize helmeted or enclosed looking models to at least leave things to the imagination. Found a few Ironclads. These guys tended to be a tad more difficult than the Nemesis or the Dawnraiders and I was reluctant to post them without a full roster of proxies because Ive yet to find a good Hellforge yet. Really feel like I need to explain the thought process here.

Iron Lich Viscerot (TBH although these sculpts are fantastic in their own right they don't seem to evoke the "tallness" of the original sculpt which I wouldn't care about save for the fact that it applies to his strider rule. I cant see either of these bestriding the battlefield, more like skittering.)

Necrotech Wraithriders (after giving up on a model with a trackball I found some designs that could convey their movement capabilities. But sadly no chains on these guys.

While obviously, you can do whatever for NBoT, I think I might just do 3 weresharks, probably from the same designer so that I know there is cohesion in the unit in both scale and print quality.
